12、y the kind Jobs couple from California. Due to his parents lived nearby in Silicon Valley, Steve Jobs kept on a keen on electronics, and he had already demonstrated his personality characteristics of people in Silicon Valley- innovation, competitive and adventurous spirit. Jobs was a native young pe

13、ople who was the first generation of Silicon Valley. All his personality characteristics were cornerstone of his leadership and success in the future.Steves home location was a gift, because Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) and other electronics company engineers lived here. Every weekend, some engineer

14、s would do their own maintenance of garage, they appreciated that lonely, eager to learn, but hard-working boy, Steve Jobs, very much. Once, an engineer brought a carbon crystal microphone to him from laboratory. Steve was fascinated with this device, and asked many perceptive questions. Later, Stev

15、e often came to his house to play, the engineer had a good impression on him, so he gave this microphone to Steve as a gift. Steve Jobss talent in the electronics is the source of his originality, meanwhile, is motivation force for future innovations.School LifeSteve Jobs was not a good student who

Due to his disruptive behaviors and do not complete homeworks( he thought doing those jobs was a waste of time), the school ordered him to leave school several times. Steve Jobs never be frustrated because of that. On the contrary, he believed he can do anyt

17、hing he liked because he had great enthusiasm with his favorite things. This strong self-confidence was a key to be a powerful leader who never hesitate in front of difficulties.Steve, however, moved to a new school at the age of 11. His free spirit and immense intelligence went unnoticed against th

Then, his parents moved again. At the young age, Steve Jobs had demostrated that he was able to have enoungh

19、 strength of will to convice people. This strong personality and single-mindedness can overcome any obstacle to his progress, which emerged from him already. Also, such a ability of convicing people was a important technique of being a powerful leader.In middle school, Steve Jobs met Steve Wozinak w

20、ho was a math genius and also interested in electronics. Then, S. Jobs and S. Wozinak hit it off in terms of the same interest. By age 16, Steve and Woz called by Steve Jobs created a blue box which is a device can do phone phreaking, that can make long-distance phone call all over the world for fre

21、e. Then, they showed this device to their friends, as a result, everyone was fascinated by this new technology. Finally, the two Steves started first business by selling this machine. Moreover,the price of this device was increased to 300 dolloars at last. This experience was the begin that he benef

22、ited from his originality which also contributed to his leadership in the future.In 1972, Steve Jobs conviced his parents and entered Reed College, but he droped out the school after fisrt six months because he wanted to study what he was really interested in and save such an expensive tuition fee.

23、He trust in himself that he can find what interested him and it would work out perfectly. Steve Jobs, as a leader, alwanys made decision firmly due to his great self-confidence and wise judements. .Birth of AppleDue to the affection of electronics, Steve and Woz often studied personal computers in t

24、heir garage. They dreamed to have an own computer, but the computers in the market, at that time, are commercial, large size and extremely expensive. Therefore, they decided to develop personal computers. Just a few weeks later, a computer with unattractive appearance- the worlds first personal comp

25、uter, Apple I, was born.In 1976, Steve Jobs and Woz set up the Apple Company, started to operate personal computer business. With the rapid development of company, they created Apple Second, which is small and easy to use. Apple Company profited from this remarkable machine, and went to public due t

26、o the success of Apple Second. Steve Jobs started to develop his innovation leadership from then on.Expelled by AppleHowever, the success came too fast, crisis was behind that too much honors. Due to Steves management principle was different with other colleagues, plus, IBM had introduced personal c

27、omputer to the market and seized large market share, Apple new computer was defeated. The general manager and board members attributed this failure to Steves strategy, and the board meeting decided to repeal Steves operation right at 1985. Then, Steve Jobs left Apple.After his left, Steve Jobs was a

28、ware of his mistakes. More importantly, he learned lessons from that. Moreover, the lessons he learned from this failure was the fundamental of his back in the future which made him more persistent. After few days, he set up a new company, NeXT.Defining the futureWith the success of NeXT Computer Co

29、mpany and the rapid development of Pixar Animation Company, Steve Jobs was back to peoples attention. With the acquisition, he returned to Apple in 1996 as CEO and helped Apple go through the financial crisis. From that time on, the rise of Apple technology began with the launch of a series of marke

30、t winning products and his revolution in company and bold innovations which made Apple dominate the leading position in the world. Even though, Steve had suffered huge setbacks, he never give up.
