The instructions for installing and configuring the Cisco VPN Client and Lotus Notes Client will also be provided to users in CD-ROM format.Installing the Cisco VPN Client through InstallShieldTo

7、install the VPN Client on your system, follow these steps. We suggest you accept the defaults unless your system administrator has instructed otherwise.Step 1 Exit all Windows programs, and disable any antivirus software.Step 2 Insert the Cisco VPN Client CD-ROM in your systems CD-ROM drive.Step 3 C

8、hoose Start Run. The Run dialog box appears.Step 4 Enter E: Win9x-XPsetup.exe, where E: is your systems CD-ROM drive, OS is Windows 9x XP. Enter E:W2000 vpnclient_setup.exe if your OS is Windows 2000.Step 5 Click OK.NoteCisco does not allow you to install the VPN Client software from a network drive

If you attempt to do so, you will receive an error message.The program displays the Cisco Systems logo and InstallShield Setup window shown in Figure 1-1.Figure1-1 Starting InstallShield Installation Step 6 Follow the instructions on the screens and enter the following information:A destination fo

10、lder for the VPN Client files (or click Next to enter the default location C:Program FilesCisco SystemsVPN Client).Step 7 After you have installed the VPN Client, the InstallShield Wizard displays the following screen. You must restart your computer before you can configure and use the VPN Client. (

To use such a profile, you must first import that profile to the Profiles directory on your PC. To import a new connection entr

12、y profile from a file, use the following procedure:Step1. Either display the Connection Entries menu and choose Import or click the Import icon on the toolbar above the Connection Entries tab. The VPN Client displays the Import VPN Connection dialog box. Step2. Select the file “ Citic Ka Wah Bank.pc

13、f “ (a file with a .pcf extension) which locate in the folder “ vpn_profiles ” in your systems CD-ROM drive.Choosing a Profile to ImportStep 3. The VPN Client displays a message to let you know that the import action succeeded and places the imported profile in the Cisco SystemsVPN ClientProfiles di
