1、EAN code PrefaceMicroLife Group already registered the EAN code for her branded products; however, due to ISO requirement, every package (G/B) needs its relative code; therefore, a revised coding system is applied to all the existing products. The purpose of this internal regulation re-defines the r

2、ule of how the products are coded. To note that due to coherence of previous EAN system for purchase system, it will be kept the original EAN code (assigned as “variant 1, 2 existing”).IntroductionThe EAN code used is “EAN-13 System” which 13 numbers are shown. The meaning of each number is describe

3、d as following:N1 N2 N3 M1 M2 M3 M4 P1 P2 P3 P4 P5 CN1 N2 N3: three numbers, country code; they are “471” for Taiwan.M1 M2 M3 M4: four numbers, manufacturer (company) code; they are 9003 for our company.P1 P2 P3 P4 P5: five numbers, product code; is defined in detail as the next section.C: one numbe
