1、大学英语本科B级教学大纲大学英语(本科B级)教学大纲课程类别:公共必修课总学时:345总学分:16适用专业:全院各专业(非英语专业)先修课程:中学英语一、课程性质与任务 大学英语课程属全院性公共必修课程,共开设四个学期,即第一、第二、第三及第四学期,没学期实际授课17周,每周4课时;通过本课程的教学,在加强学生的英语语言基础知识和基本技能训练的同时,重视培养学生实际使用英语进行交际的能力,达到学以致用、学有所用、为将来的自主学习打下良好基础的目的。二、教学目的与要求大学英语教学的目的是:经过330-350学时的教学,使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和技能,具有一定的听、说、读、写、译的能力,从而能

2、借助词典阅读和翻译有关英语业务资料,在涉外交际的日常活动和业务活动中进行简单的口头和书面交流,并为今后进一步提高英语交际能力打下基础,帮助学生打下扎实的语言基础,掌握良 好的语言学习方法,提高文化素养,以适应社会发展和经济建设的需要。大学英语教学分为四级(College English Bands 1-4, 简称CEB1-4)。专科应达到三级(CEB- 3)。1)词汇领会是掌握3800单词,以及有这些词构成的常用词组(中学所掌握的单词和词组包括在内),并具有按照基本构词识别生词的能力。2)语法 巩固和加深基本语法知识,提高在语篇水平上运用语法知识的能力。3)阅读能力 能顺利阅读语言难度中等的一

3、般性题材的文章,掌握中心大意以及说明中心大意的事实和细节,并能进行一定的分析,推理和判断,领会作者的观点和态度,阅读速度达到每分钟50词。在阅读篇幅较长,难度略低,生词不超过总词数3%的材料时,能掌握中心大意,抓住主要事实和有关细节,阅读速度达到每分钟90词。4)听的能力能听懂英语讲课,并能听懂题材熟悉,句子结构比较简单,基本上没有生词,语速为每分钟110-130词的简短会话,谈话,报道和讲座,掌握其中心大意,抓住要点和有关细节,领会讲话者的观点和态度。5)说的能力 能就教材内容和适当的听力材料进行问答复述,能用英语进行一般的日常会话,能就所熟悉的话题经准备后作简短发言,表达思想比较清楚,语音

4、,语调基本准确。6)写的能力 能在阅读难度与课文相仿的书面材料时做笔记,回答问题,写提纲,能就一定的话题或提纲在半小时内写出100词左右的短文,能写短信和便条,表达意思清楚,无重大语言错误。7)译的能力 能借助词典将难度略低于课文的短文译成汉语,理解正确,译文达意。能借助词典将内容熟悉的汉语文字材料译成英语,译文达意,无重大语言错误。三、教学时数分配教学时数为345学时,安排在第一至第四学期。每学期为一级,每级约90学时,每周5学时。章次讲授内容讲授时数技能或实验时数总时数Book 1Unit 1-575075Book 1Book 2Unit 68Unit 1-390090Book 2Book

5、 3Unit 48Unit 190090Book 3Unit 2-690090合计3450345四、教学内容及课时分配Book 1 教学目的和要求:掌握基本词汇、掌握并学会应用基本结构、基本知识的学习和应用能力的训练词汇:2350读:精读量6000词数,泛读量25000词数。阅读速度:一般60词数 /wpm,快速80词数/wpm。技能要求:能读懂语言难度一般的普通题材的文章。学会基本的阅读技能。听:语速120/wpm, 2遍,能听懂英语讲课及简短会话和谈话,抓住中心大意和要点。说:学会基本的课堂用语,能用英语提问并回答教师就课文提出的问题。写:能根据所学课文做笔记,回答提问,完成提纲和填写表格

6、,能就所学内容在半小时内写出80词左右的短文。内容比较连贯,语法基本正确。译:能翻译难度低于课文的英语文章,理解正确,译文基本达意,译速每小时200英语词。能译出句子结构比较简单的汉语,译文达意,基本无重大语言错误,译速每小时150汉字。 主要内容: Unit 1 Greeting and Introducing People1、教学目的要求:掌握基本词汇、掌握并学会应用基本结构、基本知识的学习和应用能力的训练2、教学重点和难点:In Face to Face, learn how to orally greet and introduce others when meeting people

Dont forget to imitate these sentences over again and again so that you can introduce yourself in English fluently.In Being All Ears, practice your listening comprehension to g

When you practice this part you should pay attention to what, who, which, how, where, when, etc. Try your best to learn from all the tasks designed especially for you in this section.In Maintaining a Sharp Eye, learn the way foreign people greet

9、each other. In particular, learn how Americans meet and greet each other , both in informal and formal situations. You can also learn and practice how to introduce yourself by reading through passage II.In Trying your hand, become knowledgeable on how to write a business card and fill in a passport

10、with your personal information. Please be careful and make sure you are putting in the right information when designing your own business card and filling in your passport.
