3、ld has witnessed the rapid changes of peoples viewpoints on marriage. They no longer hanker for everlasting love but fast food romantic due to the fast development of the society. Therefore, the object of this research is to tell the married and unmarried how the Jane Eyres view of marriage should b

It teaches us that although she is not beautiful, she still gains the fruitful love due to her charm of personality, such as striving for freedom and equality, the most improtant, the mutual understanding and respect. 9、ntroduction To Jane Eyre And Its Author1.1 Introduction to Charlotte BronteCharlotte Bronte was born in 1816 at Thornton, in York shire, England. She is ranked third among six children. In 1824, she was sent with three sisters to the Clergy Daughters School at Cowan Bridge in Lancashire. Unfortunate

10、ly, two of her sisters died because of poor conditions and treatment, Charlotte still persevered. When she was a little girl, she was very interested in literature and she wrote many short stories and poems to prepare for her literary career.At the age of fifteen, she furthered her study at Roe Head

11、 School in Midfield. In 1839, Jane left Roe Head School and took up her first job as governess. She suffered much from her job which was despised at that time.After giving up her occupation as a governess, in order to make a living, Charlotte and her sisters decided to make a trip to Brussels to lea

12、rn French with the dream of teaching French. During the time when she was a pupil and later a teacher in the Pension at Herger, a girls school, she had a soft spot for Mr Herger, the owner of this school, who was handsome and intelligent. However, she never let him know how she deeply loved him and

13、he never knew. Her first novel Professor, based on her own exprience in her school did not bring her fame and wealth and she even couldnt find a publisher in her lifetime. After toiling away for a time, she wrote a novel entitled Jane Eyre, which was an immediate success.What most impresses us is he

14、r attitude towards love, although she met her true lover,a married man, she put her love deeply in her heart and didnt let him know. Her final union with the man after so many vicissitudes has aroused our respect for her sincerity and fidelity. 1.2 Introduction to Jane EyreJane Eyre is regarded as o

Jane Eyre as an orphan had lived in the house of her uncles widow before she was eight. But unfortunately, Janedidnt live a happy life, filled with anxieties and a

16、pathy in her childhood, because her aunts family treated her badly and she felt rebellious. At the age of eight, Jane was packed off to the charitable boarding school, which was known for harsh discipline and tough environment. During the school days, in order to realize her dream of being a qualifi

17、ed teacher, Jane didnt slacken off her efforts to study well and she was happy indeed because she met Helen who was considered as her best friend since her childhood. Due to the arduous situation in the boarding school, she decided to leave and succeeded in becoming a governess of a so-called daught

18、er of Rochester in his country Thornfield Hall after advertising for a post. Merry were these days thereand busy too, dramatically, both Jane and her master Rochester had a soft spot for each other and they fell in love. Unexpectedly, when Jane got the truth that Rochester had a legal wife, instead

19、of deceiving herself, she left Thornfield and her beloved one without saying a word. She didnt know where she would go but had nearly starved to death and suffered a lot from exhaustion. Meanwhile, Jane was rescued by Rivers family on the edge of death, in her later days she happened to receive a su

20、m of heritage from her relatives. After rejecting the propose of her cousin John, Jane came back to Thornfield at the call of Rochester in her heart and amazingly found that the house had burnt down and Rochester had nothing left with himself but a pair of blinded eyes and maimed body. Without hesit

21、ation, Jane made up her mind to stay to take care of him because of his bereavement and moreover her deep love for him. After experiecing the twists and turns of her life journey, they got married in the end and lived a happy life forever.2. Concentrated reflection of Janes Faithful love2.1 Mutual r

22、espect and understandingWithout doubt, we know that Jane is a parentless orphan, since her uncle died, she is treated unfairly in her aunts house, what is worse, she suffers from lots of insults and humiliations, no one understands and helps her. Despite the environment, unfair and cruel life couldn

23、t deprive her of life-long happiness, for she has found her true love which is destined to be the final result during her long life journey. Rochester, an upper class gentleman who possesses a high social status and a great fortune falls in love with Jane who has nothing simply because he was deeply

24、 moved by her sincerity, braveness and kind-heartedness and tenacity, without considering her appearance or wealth, status. Instead of caring about what she was educated, her miserable childhood, he regards her chasteness, simplicity, optimism as something rare and precious and even is willing to ma

25、rry her with whom he should be living for interdependence. On the other hand, although theres a great disparity in age between, they two sow the seed of love in their hearts and the love was deeply engraved in their minds. Although many bizzare things happened in his country mansion, and even Roches

26、ter refrains from revealing to her the mystery that he has got married, she doesnt seem to care, and she indulges in passionate love permeated with immeasurable hope and pleasure, she is confident that he will be a man of her true love irrespective of other influential elements. Their mutual respect

27、 and understanding show Janes artless and innocent faithful love for Rochester and how she is fondly of him.Kuriagama Hakuson says aptly “Anguish and tears make love worthwhile.” Before they get married, she learns of the news that her would-be huaband has already a legal wife. The news never fails

28、to shock her, her heart sinks, words fail her. By way of guarding their fruitful, unsullied love and happiness, in face of the dilemma, she chooses to leave Thorn Field without hesitation. The trial and tribulation of living, the suffering of mortal life and the acute sorrow of parting, she bears th

29、em all. Though she was suffering the nameless agony, she hopes to live a happy life free from anxieties and angers and seeks a love which was none other than the real thing. She waits and waits for the unblemished and unforgettable love. As to her, time seems to be meaningless and she suffers a lot

30、in her pursuit of the true and faithful love.2.2 Faithful to her own willLife will be insignificant without pain. During the time Jane was trudging all by herself on her way thick with dust to the poor and remote village. Jane nearly loses her life because of hunger and cold. Fortunately, she is sav

31、ed by a priest named John and his two sisters on the edge of her death. In order to reward them for their help, she takes a profession as an assistant of a missionary and teaches in the primary school. Meanwhile, John, who is later found to be her counsin, proposes to her in the Moor House, but she

32、refuses the offer, because she knows that she can not forget Rochester still loves her, but John is not her beloved one who refuses to give her happiness and consolation. She cherishes her affection for Rochester so much that she loves him more than herself. For the sake of the faithful love she would rather give up all that she has and she thinks its worthwhile to do so. She not only abandoned the peace and quiet life and glory, which she could easily get at that time, just only not to betray her own will.2.3 Janes deep love for RochesterIt seems that Janes fate has
