3、床朗读Grammar Focus中的句子并弄懂其意思。 课堂学习语言点导学（一）could的用法could是情态动词can的过去式，在句中不能单独做谓语，后面必须跟其他动词原形才能做谓语。它在句中通常有两种作用。1、 表示能力，意为“能、会”，此时必须与过去时间状语连用。 （1）I could ride a bike at the age of eight.2、表示许可或请求，常用来请求别人做某事或自己做某事要征求别人的许可。此时could不是can的过去式，而是使语气更委婉。 Could I use your pen? -Yes, sure. / -Sorry, you cant. (二)辨

4、析can与couldcan与could都是情态动词，could是can的过去式，二者后面都要接动词原形。二者都可以表示能力，相当于be able to。 此时，can 与现在的时间状语连用，could与过去的时间状语连用。二者都可以表示请求或许可，但could比can语气更委婉，回答都用can。Can/ Could you help me? Yes, I can. / No, I cant.(三)表示委婉的提出请求及被永许做某事的句型Could you please+ do sth?Could you + do sth?Would you please+ do sth?Would you +
