（一）could的用法
could是情态动词can的过去式，在句中不能单独做谓语，后面必须跟其他动词原形才能做谓语。
它在句中通常有两种作用。
1、表示能力，意为“能、会”，此时必须与过去时间状语连用。
（1）
Icouldrideabikeattheageofeight.
2、表示许可或请求，常用来请求别人做某事或自己做某事要征求别人的许可。
此时could不是can的过去式，而是使语气更委婉。

（二）辨析can与could
can与could都是情态动词，could是can的过去式，二者后面都要接动词原形。
二者都可以表示能力，相当于beableto。
此时，can与现在的时间状语连用，could与过去的时间状语连用。
二者都可以表示请求或许可，但could比can语气更委婉，回答都用can。

（三）表示委婉的提出请求及被永许做某事的句型

肯定回答常用Sure./Certainly./Ofcourse/Withpleasure/Allright./Noproblem./I’dloveto.等，
否定回答用I’mafraidnot,/Certainlynot./Sorry,I（you）can’t/I’dlovetobutI…,并说明原因。
与take有关的短语;
takeout取出（代词做宾语时，放在两词中间）或把某人带出去
takeoff脱下，（飞机）起飞takeaway拿走，取走
take…to…把……带到…..takesb.forawalk带某人去散步
takeone’stime不急，慢慢干takeexercise运动，锻炼
takeabus（ship/train…）乘公共汽车（轮船/火车…）

（1）意为“从事，忙于（某工作）”，相当于bebusywith。
on是一个介词（=upon），后接名词或代词做宾语。
（2）“继续工作”之意，此时on是副词，后不接宾语。

borrow,lend,keep的区别。
borrow,lend都有“借”之意。
borrow指从别人那里借来东西（人），其固定搭配为borrowsth.（sb.）fromsb.（somewhere）,意为“向某人或某处借某物{人}。
Lend指把某物借给某人，其固定搭配为lendsth.tosb.（=lendsb.sth.）
keep在表示“借”的意思时，通常表示借某物多长时间，后接for短语。
2、agreewithsb.,表示“与某人有相同的看法”；
