1、finalAbstract:Background:The Eating Habit of the Teen Healthy eating is very important for teenage. During puberty, our body composition changes. Adequate nutrition will ensure our emotional and physical health. On the other hand, bad eating habit will harm to our body, for example, skipping breakfa

2、st, irregular meal and so on. If the teenage affected by the bad habit ,they might have chronic illness in the future ,including cancer obesity and diabetes .As a teenage we have more choices to decide what we eat and what we want to eat. We need eat a variety of foods that give our nutrients we gro

3、wing body needs. But sometime we are constantly obsessing about eating habit like which food have more nutrition .So we should know how to arrange our eating habit to avoid health problem.SportsAlso, sport and physical activity is benefit for the health. To improve teenagers mental, physical activit

4、y has long been used as a tool. The sports globalization is the cultural globalization important component, is the international sports development inevitable trend. In this process, the westernization becomes now the sports globalization key character. But, in China most teenagers are dont have eno

5、ugh time for sport. Maybe they do the most sport activities during at school. Some students also think study is the most essential thing in the stage of studying. They prefer to spend time for study than to do some physical exercises for relaxation. The life style The problem of teenagers health, su

6、ch as, smoking, drinking, web-addiction, the poor physique always is the topic which is paid close attention by the society. In recent years, there exists double-humped phenomenon on the teenagers physique and nutrition problems, in other words, both malnutrition and overweight problem each has a la

7、rge number of teenagers suffering from. According to the experts statement, the reason why teenagers have this problem is that they are lack exercising or have worse life style.The psychological problemsPsychological problems of teenager already became one of the essential problems which affect the

8、health of teenagers. Last year, WHO (the World Health Organization) announce that the main reason, which cause the suicide of teenager, is that the teenagers is afraid of parents blames and punishments; 19% of teenagers suicide for this reason.18% of teenagers killed themselves by reason of psycholo

9、gical problems. Recently, some experiments show that in China, 10.9% of teenagers want to suicide; 16% of them have some psychological problems; 4% of them have already prepared to suicide. (Reference:)All of these data indicate psychological problems of teenagers can not be neglected. Today, we foc

10、us on the psychological problems effects to the health of teenagers in Changsha.Aims and Objectives:1. To identify the teen healthy status in Changsha 2. To describe state of eating habit in Changshas teen, and try to improve this situation.3. To examine how much time do the teenagers play the compu

11、ter game every day.4. To find out what is the healthy life style. To identify the main types of teenagers psychological problems in Changsha.5. To examine the percentage of teenagers who have taken a psychological cure in Changsha.6. To examine the largest pressure of teenagers from the daily life i

12、n Changsha. Methodology:Setting:Our questionnaires were handed out in three different places in Changsha. The first is the fast food restaurants, for example, the KFC and the McDonalds; because it is very popular among teenagers to spend free time there with friends on weekends in Changsha. Most peo

13、ple prefer to answer the questionnaire while they are waiting for their meal. The second place we chose is the Huangxing walking street, owing to large concentrations of people. We chose the campus of the NCUK in Changsha as the last place; almost all the students are teenagers, and it is convenient

14、 to count the result of our questionnaires.Participants:In our research, based on the teachers suggestions, we hand out 50 questionnaires to 50 teenagers. The 50 questionnaires can help us learn more about teenagers health problems. In order to our research covers every aspect. Our research involved

15、 50 teenagers whose age from 13 to 19.Materials:Our topic is about health of teenagers problems. The questionnaires include 4 aspects. As Life-style, eating habits, sports and psychology. After discussion, we searched the internet and hand out questionnaires. We used multiple-optional, open-question

16、, and yes or no questions then we want this questionnaire can reflect the problems in society.Procedure: After finishing the proposal, my group put hand to prepare for the questionnaire. In our opinion, knowing something about our topic can give me a hand to finish the questionnaire. Therefore, we s

17、earched the internet at first. Then, we had a discussion to find out what question should be put into questionnaire and what types of question should have. Of course, teacher gave us lots of advice about it. As a result of our diligent work, the questionnaire was finished eventually. Taking account

18、of the limited time, we chose school to hand out the 50 questionnaires. Findings:1. The first objective is about the main information of healthy lifestyle. For example, in our questionnaire 28 girls and 11 boys they choice yes. And 4 girls and 4 boys they choice no. Most people they think they have

19、healthy lifestyle, but a small number of people they think they have some problems in life. That is why we make this questionnaire, we want to know the what kind of problems exist here. 2. This object is linking to the how often do you do the physical exercises on your free time. We find that some o

20、f girls doing exercise not very often, which means most girls dont like do physical exercise in free time. On the other side, there are a few girls do the physical exercise once a week at least. However in the other group most of boys do sport every day.3. This question is to find the factor which a

21、ffects the health condition of people the most in Changsha. The table shows that 32% participators chose the living condition, 48% participators chose the eating habits, 10% participators chose the studying pressure, 8% participators chose the physical exercises and 2% participators chose the others

22、. Approximate one half of teenagers believe that having a good eating habit is the key factor.4. The question is to research the people do the teenagers prefer to pour out their troubles, due to the psychological difference between boys and girls; we divide this result into two parts depending on th

23、e genders. More than one half of girls would like to tell something to their friends when they have a bad mood, some of them will communicate with parents or others, a lot of them deal with the trouble by their selves, but none of them are going to talk with teachers. On the other hand, about one ha

24、lf of the boys prefer to handle the problem by their selves or to hide the bad mood deeply in their hearts, and none of them choose to talk with their parents.5. Lack of time to sleeping is the main problem to teenagers with poor physique condition. As the chart shows, the percentage of more than 8

25、hours is only 12%. Moreover, this percent even less than the percentage of less than 6 hours. The percentage of 6-8 hours is 3 times than less than 6 hours one. However, the general sleeping time of teenagers is 9 hours, not enough time to sleeping will result in lack of attention in daytime. 6. The

26、 objective is to learn the health status of eating habit of teenagers. We arrange this question in order to let teenagers learn about their selves. They can know what kind of problem they have in eating habit .at the same time. We get information about teenager eating habits so that we can thing up

27、more reasonable recommendations. 7. Nowadays, many teenagers have a lot of poor behaviors; we list some of it, such as smoking, intemperance, staying up and wed-addiction. According to the table, the number of people who has the habits of staying up is so many, approximately taking up 50%, especiall

28、y among the girls. Smoking and web-addiction take an about equal share, both 20 percent. The least one is the intemperance, only 3%. The open mind question can give our same original ideas about how to improve our health. We also try to rem

30、ind teenager of making plan to mend their health status.Conclusions:The current situation of the health of teenage in ChangshaThrough the investigation, we can know more about the status of the eating habit of teenager. Nowadays, Teenage still have no consciousness about their health. The common pro

31、blems include the skipping the breakfast, eating disorder. The cause the skipping breakfast reason is that some teenagers feel eating habit is a matter thing. Same teenagers get up lately. So they might skipping breakfast. Eating habit appears that some teenagers only eat meat food and vegetables. R

32、ecommendation Breakfast is most important meal of the day. We suggest teenagers eat healthy food in morning. Like milk, fruit, grain. Get into the habit of eating breakfast. Making a schedule avoid getting up lately. Parents play a big role in shaping childrens eating habits. Parent can arrange childrenbreakfast and sit with their children enjoy the healthy breakfast.
