9、cation Type, “Career”3. Select the Certification Level “Professional”4. Check the box for “Software for Business Management”5. Scroll down to view the list of available ATP certifications.6. Find the exam number and recommended courses for the Exam you want to take:a. Click on the certification for

10、which you want to get more information. The information page will appear.b. Click the line “Complete requirements” and expand the + to get the exam number and recommended courses.In the example below: the page states there is one core requirement (one exam to pass) the exam number is HP0-M43 there a

11、re two recommended courses7. Obtain and review the exam prep guide:a. On the same “Complete Requirements” page, click on the link “Exam details” then click on the Exam Prep Guide link to view or download the PDF.STEP 3: PREPARE FOR THE EXAM1. Review the Exam Prep Guide to ensure that you are appropr

12、iately skilled to pass the exam.2. Get Needed Training: Based on your review of the Exam Prep Guide, If you feel that you need additional training in order to pass the exam, get training from HP Software Education to meet your needs. (Please note that these instructions differ from those on the Expe

13、rtONE webpage because they are specific for PS, as opposed to partner instructions, and address broken link for employees)a. Return to the certification information at (follow activities 1-6 in STEP 1 above) and note the recommended training course(s) for the exam you wish to take.b. Make a Note of

14、the name of the course that you need to take c. Follow the PS process for registering in HP Software Education courses to register for and take the needed courses. Note that the course names do not always match exactly the names provided in . If you cannot find the course listed in certification exp

15、lorer, try changing your search on the HP Software Education site to a more generic search (for example, by product name), and look for a course that is similarly named. Still cant find it? Reach out to the training coordinator for your regionSTEP 4: SCHEDULE AND TAKE THE EXAM 1. Create an HP Pearso

16、nVUE Testing Profilea. Go to to create and activate a testing profile on the HP-specific Pearson VUE Testing Portal. A testing profile, unique to HP, is required before any test can be taken, either in person or web-based.Note: Even if you have previously taken other vendors exams through Pearson VU

17、E, you must create a new profile on the HP-specific PersonVUE Testing Portal.b. Create a testing profile within the Testing Portal. (English only) c. Activate Profile. Within a few minutes of creating a profile, an email will be sent to the email address you provided asking you to activate your prof

18、ile by entering the activation code supplied within the email notification. During this step, you will be asked to choose a unique username and password. 2. Schedule a proctored exam, or purchase a Web-based Exam - You may use a voucher or major credit card (AMEX, MasterCard, Visa, or JCB) to pay fo

19、r your exam.Note: You will need your HP Learner ID to schedule or purchase an exam. See Step one of this guide for more informationa. Log into the Testing Portal using the username and password chosen when you activated your profile.b. On the Candidate Landing Page, click either “Schedule Proctored

20、Exams” to schedule a proctored exam or “Purchase Web-Based Exams” to purchase a web-based exam or a web-based practice exam. Note: Many PearsonVUE web-based exams have a requirement that they are taken within 24 hours of the purchase of the exam. Ensure you check the requirements on the PearsonVUE s

21、ite prior to purchasing a Web-based Examc. On the screen listing the exams, choose your exam and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your transaction. .3. Take the exam at the scheduled date and time, or as directed for a Web-based examSTEP 5: ACQUIRE THE CERTIFICATION IN YOUR GROWHP PROFI

22、LEWhen you have been notified of by PearsonVue that you have passed your certification, you must acquire the certification in your growhp profile in order to create a linkage between the ExpertONE reporting systems and the HP reporting systems. Simply, this means that you need to add the certificati

23、on to your learning profile. To do this, 1. Please go to the Certification Page on the PS Learning Portal, where you will find a section entitled Exam registration and guides - or follow this link: 2. At this point on the page you will be able to scroll and find the record for the certification you

24、took. Locate that record, then click on Exam Link. 3. This will take you to a growhp page for this certification. Register for the certification to add it to your profile. The purpose of this step is to create the linkage between the PearsonVue reporting system and the HP reporting system. This step

25、 will allow your Certification to be reported in HP systems. If you fail to take this step, you will not show as certified!STEP 6: REGISTER YOUR CERTIFICATION IN CERTrakWhen you have received your certification credentials from the HP ExpertONE certification office, you must add the certification re

26、cord to HPs tracking and reporting system for industry certifications - CERTrak. This step will, in turn, allow your certification to show up in SkillPAK, Professional Services resource capability reporting system. To add your certification to CERTrak, go to the CERTrak home page at . If you havent

27、utilized CERTrak before, click the Already certified-link and follow the instructions to create your registration.If you are already registered in CERTrak, click the Display/Add Certifications-link and follow the instructionsIf you have any issues creating your certification record, utilize the Quic

HP Software Certifications are listed under the Cert

29、ification Vendor choice as “HP Software Services” (as shown below.) Make this choice, then you will be provided the drop down for the various HP Software Certifications by name under “Certification Track” as shown belowChoose the correct certification, then if you have it, enter the Certification ID

30、 number from the ExpertONE program office, and the date that you received your certification under Certification Date. Click “Add this new Certification”. After completing this step, ensure you continue to follow the Certification Guide to Electronically sign your Vendor Reporting Release Form2) in CERTrak and double-check that the correct Candidate ID1) is listed.
