1、ATT Business Fax Service Thank you for your interest in AT&T Global Messaging Services, business fax. Please read this Service Guide carefully as it is intended to inform you about the features of your Service and answer questions you may have about the Service. The Service Guide is designed to supp

2、lement any other written materials that have been provided previously to you by AT&T. This Service Guide is a Transaction Document as defined in: the applicable AT&T Global Network Services Service Order Attachment; the International Service Provider Agreement; and/or any equivalent agreement signed

3、 by both of us. Furthermore, AT&Ts policy is to continually improve its products and services, and so may from time to time change the Service as provided to Customer under this Service Guide. Within this SERVICE GUIDE you will find several sections. Section I contains the Service Description for th

4、e AT&T Global Messaging Services, business fax. The Service Description explains, in detail, the features, standard components, and optional components of your Service, and contains information relating to how the Service will be provisioned and activated. The next portion of your SERVICE GUIDE, Sec

5、tion II, contains list pricing for the AT&T Global Messaging Services, business fax. The final portion of your SERVICE GUIDE, Section III, contains the Account Support Services associated with all AT&T Global Services. This section describes features of the Account Support Services and the pricing a

AT&T Global Messaging Services, business fax services has been withdrawn from marketing. AT&T Global Messaging Services, business fax provides

8、the capability for customers, who are attached to the AT&T network via selected leased line connections, to forward a variety of different file types to group 3 and other selected fax systems. AT&T Global Messaging Services, business fax is provided in the United States and Puerto Rico. 2. BUSINESS

9、FAX - Description2.1 Business Fax Application SetupEach Customer business fax application must be defined to AT&T Global Messaging Services, business fax. Definition and setup includes distribution list setup, initial logo setup, fax form and merge setup and initial testing with group 3 fax format2.

10、2 Business Fax MessagesAT&T Global Messaging Services, business fax provides the capability to send a single fax to one or multiple destinations. AT&T Global Messaging Services, business fax AT&T Global Messaging Services provides for faxing data that is totally formatted by the user. A second optio

11、n allows for utilizing preformatted forms and filling in forms using data sent by the user. The Service allows for the storage of forms, the acceptance of variable data to fill in the form, and the fax transmission of the resulting filled in form. Charges will be incurred for each fax destination. 2

12、.3 Business Fax LogoCustomers may register a fax logo for faxes that Customer sends using AT&T Global Messaging Services, business fax. Customer may elect to have the fax logo appear on the first page or on each page of the fax. Customer agrees to defend AT&T against any claim that Customer logo inf

13、ringes a patent, copyright or other intellectual property right and pay all costs, damages, and attorneys charges that a court finally awards. 2.4 Customer responsibilitiesEach customer account registering to use AT&T Global Messaging Services, must designate a service administrator who is responsib

14、le for:providing an interface to the support structure;maintaining customer site hardware, software and communications;ordering connectivity to the AT&T network and establishing and maintaining the necessary telecommunications environment;registering end points, as applicable;registering users, as a

15、pplicable, to use the service;installation and maintenance of any connection scripts that may be required;password maintenance;end user education; andproblem resolution within the customer environment. 3. Service AvailabilityThis Service is generally available daily, seven days a week, except for ma

16、intenance. AT&T reserves the right to perform maintenance at any time in order to maintain the network. 4. Start Date / Cancellation DateThe Start Date when business fax will be made available to the Customer will be agreed upon after receipt of Customers order letter. Customer must have previously

17、executed one of the referenced Agreement(s) prior to AT&Ts receipt of an order letter. Orders may also be communicated to AT&T by e-mail or fax. Installation is defined as complete once the definitions have been made by AT&T and the information has been communicated to the Customer. SECTION II5. AT&

18、T Global Messaging Services - business fax, Charges (withdrawn from marketing)The Customers use of AT&T Global Messaging Services - business fax, will incur one or more of the following types of charges:non recurring business fax application setup charge, see table 1; monthly recurring business fax

19、message charge, see table 2; and non recurring business fax logo charge, see table 3.These charges are in addition to charges incurred for any leased line and/or dial connections.5.1 Business Fax Application Setup ChargesThere is a one-time setup charge for each application connection definition to

20、the AT&T Global Messaging Services business fax feature. This charge covers distribution list setup and updates, initial logo setup, fax form and merge setup and initial testing of your data with group 3 fax format. The charge for setting up each application is set forth in Table 1. 5.2 Business Fax

21、 Messages ChargesWhen sending a fax using AT&T Global Messaging Services business fax feature, users will incur charges based upon the destination area (Charge Band) of the fax and the number of minutes to send the fax, rounded up to the next minute. All AT&T Global Messaging Services business fax f

22、eature charges are invoiced to the sender of a fax item. The charges for sending fax messages are set forth in Table 2.5.3 Business Fax Logo ChargesThe first registered fax logo per activity account is provided at no additional charge. For each subsequent fax logo per activity account or to change a

23、n existing fax logo, we will charge you a logo registration charge. The charge for registering the second and subsequent logos is set forth in Table 3.6. DiscountsCustomer may be eligible for an AT&T Global Network Services earned allowance and/or a volume commitment discount. Should the Customer be

24、 eligible for volume commitment discounts, the Customer may receive them by signing the applicable Supplement for Custom Solution. The earned allowance does not require Customer to sign any additional Supplement for Custom Solution. Charges are specified as either eligible or not eligible for AT&T G

25、lobal Network Services earned allowance and/or volume commitment discounts in the charge table(s) below. ACCOUNT SUPPORT SERVICES - DESCRIPTIONActivity accountAn activity account is an alphanumeric identification used to identify a Customer for the placement of orders and for the use of AT&T Global Network Services. Custo

31、mers may request more than one activity account.Invoice accountAn invoice account is an alphanumeric identification used to control Customer invoicing. Generally there is one Customer invoice account for each Customer activity account; in which case the activity account and invoice account have the

32、same alphanumeric identification. Roll-up accountUpon request and subject to available resources, AT&T will consolidate Customer monthly invoices for the activity accounts Customer specifies into a single monthly invoice under one invoice account.For each invoice account, AT&T will:1.send one invoice containing the total charges and total applicable allowances for the specified activity accounts; and2
