3、cleaning of tank and relevant lines from the sand, dust, rust particles, after hydro test of CA CAT Tank and connected pipes as a supplement of cleaning procedure. The water circulation/flushing and blowing operations shall be carried out systematically until being sure that no foreign matter is cir

6、nel safety equipment Safety equipment (safety rope, safety sign board, etc) Ladders (if necessary) 4.0 PRECAUTION ON PLANNING Cleaning plans should be prepared in accordance with Pre-commissioning procedure and specific job specification. For water cleaning by circulation, prepare a scheme drawing b
7、y entering the information in the duplicates of the P & ID diagram and utility flow diagram. As to materials considered necessary in designing a cleaning plan, prepare a material list to arrange for obtaining necessary materials. Open and close the vent and drain valves at the proper time to check f
8、or clogging. For water / air cleaning, mark the discharge point “Danger” or make a barricade tape around it by a suitable means. Plan disposal of sludge and waste liquids during the tank washing and line flushing For temporary piping, use piping materials that are free from rust and contamination. A
9、ir blowing is a hazardous operation, very high forces are generated at the outlet pipe. therefore, specific safety procedures must be closely adhered to; an area of at least 10 meters around outlet points will be roped off at the release ofair especially during summer season5.0 PREPARATION FOR WASHI
10、NG AND BLOWINGBefore the water flushing/blowing through the tank and connected lines, they shall be required to prepare the circuits by carrying out following operations. Field supervisor will provide any temporary and suitable reinforcement on the supports in order to avoid any piping movement duri
11、ng the cleaning. Open the flange at connection, and install a blind plate to the drum suction and discharge nozzles to prevent the entry of foreign matter in to them. All measurement element, diaphragm, instrument, PSV control and check valve that might be plugged by dirt, shall be removed from the
12、flushing lines and washing tanks. For temporary flushing/blowing, use compressed asbestos gaskets.Insert proper gaskets only for the final reassembling of the circuit. If not supply by fixed temporary demi water from U&O, use the alternative water, which should be prepared. Water consumption is esti
13、mated to be more double the volume of piping and tank. If not supply by permanent air compressor from U&O, use the temporary air compressor, which should be prepared in the following way. a. Install an oil filter to the discharge side of temporary compressor to prevent the entrance of oil into equip
14、ment or use an oil-free compressorb. Temporary compressor will be equipped with connection hose, engine oil, cooling system and temporary dryer etc. For temporary flushing/blowing, use compressed asbestos gaskets.Insert proper gaskets only for the final reassembling of the circuit. Confirm always cl
15、eaning water/air of source through LAB analysis, before initial start for blowing and washing.5.1 Internal Washing for Tank Internal washing of drum is generally performed by a specialized SUB contractor , which will be requested to issue the relevant cleaning detailed procedure. Elements of inside of tank in the vicinity shall be protected from the water spray, if necessary Adequate measures shall be taken to ensure safe and environmentally acceptable disposal of effluent After cleaning the inside drum, wipe the moisture of the drum bottom by clothes, i
18、f possible 5.2 Drying-out for Tank ( if need ) Before charging the process fluids such as products and feedstock into the storage tanks, the system including the pipes and accessories, should be dried out thoroughly to avoid the contamination of washed water. After the water washing and hydrostatic
19、test of the storage tanks, the remained water should be drained out completely through the each point Take care not to get vacuum tank during the water draining. Vent valve or manhole cover shall be fully opened for that purpose. Drying is carried out by blowing the air to the atmosphere through the
20、 vent and drain valves, in that case blowing can be performed with temporarily installed equipment such as blower, compressor and fan etc.If the dew point of the gas in the tank reaches to the required value, drying is completed The dry plant air is preferable for the drying out of the atmospheric t
21、ank should removed during the drying out operation to avoid the plugging of them by the dust accompanied with blown air 5.3 Internal Inspection for TankBefore to start any activity on static equipment it is necessary to inspect internally for cleanliness, Internal atmosphere shall be tested to check
22、 the oxygen content and detect the presence of any dangerous substance before entering in the drum and the confined space entry procedure shall be followed. Tank shall be sufficiently cleaned to allow visual inspection of all internal surfaces (if any lighting, ventilation unit or scaffolding is req
23、uired, they shall be properly provide as per relevant site procedures). Tank shall be checked for corrosion, erosion, and damage; in case starting corrosion evidence will be found it will be reported to Contractor Corrosion Specialist. Tank connections shall be inspected to ensure that a proper numb
24、er of threads are engaged based on supplier requirements and piping specification. All openings leading to any external fittings or controls shall be examined as thoroughly as possible to ensure they are free from obstructions. Tank closures, which are used frequently in the operation of a pressure
25、tank, shall be checked for adequacy and wear.5.4 Final Box-up Box up is the final activity to be performed on static equipment to ensure the mechanical requirements have been achieved to make the equipment ready to contain hydrocarbons and utilities Perform final inspection before manhole closing. A
26、ppropriate action shall be taken if any further cleaning is required; Before boxing up, verify manhole flange finishes and cleanliness. Proper final gaskets and bolts must be used for final boxing up; Equipment of final boxing is up to be approved by Owner.5.5 Rotating Equipment It includes all thes

28、iver pre-rotational check Motor solo run Re-coupling & Final shaft alignment Final loop & function check6 OPERATING PROCEDURE6.1 Water flushing by direct supply of water The plan for cleaning each piping with water directly supplied from the water source, with temporary piping, should be prepared in
29、 the following way: Decide the valves to be operated for water cleaning and enter the operating procedure in the plan. Enter the water flow direction For valves and instruments installed in the piping to be cleaned, plan their handling in accordance with pre-commissioning procedure and specific job
30、specification. Clean branch pipes after cleaning main pipes. Mark the drain points and enter the numbers showing the draining order. Where the drain point involves the possibility of causing damage to other parts, drain water to a drainage ditch, through temporary piping. Check to see if the drainag
31、e ditch in the plant can cover cleaning and draining requirements, and if necessary, investigate a plan for draining water off depending on its quantity 6.2 Water flushing by operating a permanent pumpThe plan for cleaning piping with water by operating a permanent pump should be prepared in the following way: Ensure that demi water is available at near
