Project managers refer to the manager lead the project from the beginning to the end, team members here refer to core team members, someone who make crucial decisions with project managers and work well with all the experts. Further more, with globalization, projects among multiple countries have becoming increasingly complex and international competition and customers demand have been implicated than before. There are many forces contributing to the importance a

9、nd continued implementation of global project management. Firstly, quick development and changes in industries makes products and services become more flexible and responsive. Secondly, rapid introduction of new technologies and products are demanded by increasing customers. Thirdly, international c

10、ompetition has been driving down prices. Finally, products and services have been increasingly complex. 2.1. Growth and changes in industriesRapid growth and changes in industries make global project management essential. Corporate must be sensitive to all kinds of changes thus they should be respon

11、sive and flexible whenever and wherever they are. Lets take A as an example. A is the precursory online bookstore that proceed in July 1995 by Jeff Bezos (Velasco, 2006) and it has developed a convenient e-reader called Kindle, which has effectively broaden its sales. The size of book industry is qu

12、ite large and these years has witnessed the full-speed development of the industry. With development of online business, the requirement of books have been larger than before and the e-books are more popular because they are very cheap. Therefore, A has broaden its online platform and extended its b

13、usiness into China through the merger and acquisition with some small online platform, Considering the planned scope. And then, Amazon has developed its e-reader called Kindle, won the other e-readers and occupied the e-book industry, with the support of its strong platform and other partners like A

14、pple. The cost of distribution of e-book is almost zero and the quality must be assured. The most important is that the two-step project can face any change in the industry because Amazon has predicted the future trend and has its feasible schedule.2.2. Demands for new products and technologiesWith

15、the development of technology, customers cannot be satisfied easily by low-tech product. In order to occupy the market share, corporate ought to update its product continuously. For example, Apple has undated its iphone yearly and developed its app frequently. Because of its R&D project, the updated

16、 iphone has attracted more and more attention, the scope of the project is very large. Another point is that Apple is famous for its perfect quality because Apple company has a certain standard for different level of quality and which is qualified. Furthermore, the cost of R&D is not large actually, but as a symbol of status and wealth, high price make high profit of the project. The schedule makes R&D project has its order because t
