1、Wireless LAN Test Requirements1.0 PurposeThe purpose of this document is to describe the test requirements for the Askey Wireless LAN Unit. This requirement is for internal Wireless LAN testing. Test PhilosophyThe philosophy during manufacturing test, which includes In-Circuit and Functional Test, i
2、s to facilitate as much testing as possible at In-Circuit Test where maximum fault isolation may be achieved at a leveraged cost. Functional testing shall then verify basic product functionality from an end-user perspective, i.e. that the unit syncs-up to a Golden sample across a packet transmit, ra

Sample testing for On-Going Testing (ORT) reliability and Output Quality Control (OQC) audits must be done. 2.0 The Flash Programming Process

Ideally testing carried out per this procedure will assist in preventing latent part, manufacturing process. Through the use of effective correctiv

Testing is to take place on existing products with active electronic parts at the post Functional Test stage. This process
19、 provides an early warning indication of a products continued ability to meet operational requirements. Testing is used in addition to routine production tests i.e. Functional, other Quality tests. Testing is considered more extensive than routine production tests.FlowchartFigure 7. ORT Test Flowcha

Sample rate should be approximately 6pcs units each production day for each model.3.3 Output Quality Control Test (OQC)OQCA random sample of 3-5% of production should be re-tested to determine operation of the wireless LAN. This test should be a subset of tests from the functional(RX) test that verifies PER(packet error rate), Sen(sensitivity) and check MAC. These tests should verify only, not perform any configuration of the unit.
