II.The differences of school education between America and china2.1 The difference in education value orientation Chinese education is the education to lay foundation,which “learn more but perceive less”. Chinese education emphasis on instilling the accumulation of knowledge,cultivating students respect to knowledge and authority. In contrast, Americas education are more focus on

First, the school education is uniform in many aspects. The education mo

For students, going to school means endless homework and examination. There is a standard key to both their homework and

Education in our china derail social absolutely for the students who we cultivate cant use what they learn into practice. American classroom are very relax,and American students dont have too muc

They have to bear to listen、they are prohibited to look other books and they cant leave classroom although they have known the knowledge well. In fact chinas high standard and strict management mode reject studen
16、ts normal needs and rights which students have as independent personality learner.American schools management rules and regulations, not based on the control but to create a freedom、loose education environment to operate normally. Students can interrupt the classroom whenever it is and whatever the
17、teacher say.They can choose to do other things if they dont interested in what the teacher say. So, they can go out to have other classes which they interested in.The basic principle of school management rules is base on people oriented.The sense of taking good care of students and respect them are

The school wont easily punish students.2.4 The difference in teaching facilities Most of Chinese primary school just have some small classrooms to teach, lots of students have to study together in a small space. Moreover some students have never seen the advanced teaching equipment.The c
19、hair and broom we used had to be supplied by ourselves in some schools.We cant practice students listening ability without equipment, but lots of Chinese school dont have multimedia or have few and old equipment for students to learn。 In America, the physical layouts of classrooms vary. Initially, s
20、tudent desks stand in rows. During the year, desks may be arranged in one big circle or put into small clusters. This allows students to work on projects in small groups. Elementary school classrooms contain special learning areas. A corner may have a rug, soft chairs and many books where students c

Or there may be a science corner for projects.Most American teachers have their own classrooms. 2.5 The difference in examination system China is the examination-oriented education for the reasons of history and reality and, of course, it is for a large population national to choose a
22、 relatively low cost examination-oriented education. However, the results of the examination-oriented education is to train Students from a general lack of innovation. Some people say: Why can not a Chinese one Nobel Prize winner. Maybe this is the reason. The examination system in China makes the s
23、tudents dull.To attend a university school ,students must take national college entrance exam which is incredibly intense and grueling,last three days but prepared for it occupies all students and teachers minds.The exam can only be taken once and almost entirely determines the students future in Ch
24、ina.Teachers also feel pressure and put a lot of pressure on their students because teachers reputations depend on how many students they have pass the exam. Education in the United States or the West in many countries, focus on quality education. Concern for each individual students Development, an
25、d encourage them to open the wings thinking, encourage students to contribute to innovation. In America,students take examinations to evaluate their own work and to know where they stand and how much they have understood whatever they have been taught. Examinations reflect a students understanding,
26、aptitude and intelligence. The teachers assess their students performances. In America, mostly there is no such things as external examinations. The final grade is usually based on the instructors evaluation, which takes into account not only the several examinations given, but also written papers,
27、participation in oral discussions, field and laboratory work. The bachelors degree is ordinarily awarded on the successful completion of the various undergraduates course, without further general examinations required for B.A. Degree, the Masters degree and customarily for the Ph.D. degree. 28、ons for the differences in America and chinas school education There are many reasons attributed to the difference in this two countries.The large distance of economic is the main reason for the differences.American economic is unsurpassed.That give a financial support to the development of education.while our country is a developing country,economic level is lower than America and the education investment is small.
