The main purpose of this short study essay is through the psychological a

2、nalysis of Ninas presented abnomral behaviors and thoughts and emotions to reveal how the symptoms of Schizophrenia cuase the bellet dancers emotions, thoughts and behaviors disoders and to analyzed the factors that may causes the disabling symptoms, and also to identify the diagnoses, prognosis and

3、 related treatments that can be used to relieve the symptoms of Ninas psychosis disorder. Ninas case of psychosis symptoms From the movie, people can know that the main protagnoist Nina Sayers (played by Natalie Portman) is a beautiful 30 years old woman with cowardly and principle personality and s

4、he has been practiced delicate Ballet under her moms careful care and long-term overcontrols with highly anticipated pressure. She practices ballet all the time and she wants to have outstanding ballet skills that she practices ballet in a strictful and hard way as her dreams is becoming an outsandi

5、ng famous ballect dancer which also can fultil her mothers dream. She presents many strange behaviors and thoughts under severe compertitions and internal and external pressures, and which makes her thought and behaviors out of control . The abnormal behaviors include: she has nightmares and would w

6、ake up in the middle of night sometimes; she thinks she can hear some voice from somewhere unknown; also, she always suspicious other people is following her and other dancers will stole her leading role of dancer and harm her; also, she percepts that there is another Nina who is watching her. She b

7、ecomes so agitated and agaist her mom and other dancers. Through Ninas behaviors of self-forces and imparimental thoughts and strugglings in her daily life, people can itentify a lot of details that Ninas presented symptoms are beyond the normal scope of behaviors and thoughts. Her abnomral behavior

8、 can be diagnosed as psychosis in the way of shizophrenia by using psychological analysis. As Ninas symptoms of schizophrenia has apparently presented in many ways in her daily life, which breaks down her mental world. Through the movie, people can know that Nina endures mind disorders but she does

9、not know about the mental disorder and she has not been diagnosed and get treatments properly that severe the symptoms that kills her at the end. Diagnosis based on DSM-5Ninas psychosis disorders can be diagnosed as schizophrenia by using the assessment tool, the DSM-5. Based on the criteria of DSM-

10、5 and the information about Nina, it can diagnose that Nina meetsThe DSM-5criteria forschizophrenia and Ninas symptoms related to schizophrenia are delusion, hallucinations, self-mutilation, paranoia and other psychiatric symptoms and abnormal psychomotor behaviors that continue to impair her daily

According to the DSM-5, people with schizophrenia demonstrate hallucinations, delusions, thought and behavior disorders that progressively worse infected peoples social, personal and working life (Tobin & House, 2015). For diagnosis, the patient must meet the criteria of the symptoms of schizo

12、phrenia and at least 2 symptoms must presented last more than 1 month and the deterioration continue to disturb patients life for at least half year (Tobin & House, 2015). As the symptoms of schizophrenia includes positive symptoms (delusion, hallucinations) and negative symptoms (the symptoms conti

13、nues to disturb patients daily functions) (Kay,1991, p, 195-196) (Immunology, 2013, p 360), therefore, through analysis, Nina can be diagnosed that she presents positive symptoms of schizophrenia, and she also presents some level of psychomotor symptoms. Nina experiences delusion and hallucination w

14、hich are considered as paranoid schizophrenia, and also her fantasy thoughts, abnormal emotions have risky her motor actions every day. Positive symptomsFirst, Nina meets the delusion and hallucination symptoms as she has self-delusion, fantacy thoughts and hears and sees things which are unreal. Bo

People with delusion perceive things that does not exist in the real world while hallucination is related with auditory and visual things that are actually not real (Videbeck, et al.,2015). Through the Movie Black Swan, people can see that the symptoms of schizophrenia has not been mentioned, but people can identified that Ninas symptoms has last for more than lieves lily and another Nina are attakers who hurts her shows she has persecutory d

21、elusion; she is s1 month and the disturbances seems to continoius for more than 6 month. The course of schizophrenia has presented in different time in the person, that Nina has experienced the predromal phase of shizophrenia that her has deteriotated thought in her dreams at the beigining of the mo

22、vie, which symptoms are the “initial unusual experiences prior to developing frank psychosis” (Lauriello &Pallanti, 2012). Ninas symptoms has devloped into manifested symptoms, that her delusion and hallucination become more severe and often, that she can tell she has abornal thoughts and behaviors

23、that raises the fear, and paranoia emotions of her. which is the active phase that people experienced symptoms is magnifested and eminent (Lauriello & Pallanti, 2012). She starts to repeat to think that her back has wings that she need to scratch it out and peel her nails and her hallucinations are

24、severe that harm herslef. psychomotor symptoms Nina meets some psychomotor symptoms of schizophrenia that the psychosis disorders cause the repeatetion of strange behaviors. Catatonia symptoms is related with schizophrenia and considered as “a subtype of schizopreniathe” (Waris et al., 2014), in whi

25、ch the features of this mental disorder can be presented in the way with strange posture and movements and behaviors (Waris et al., 2014). In a research study about “17.7% of children and adlescents” who have psychosis illness presentd some catatonia symptoms (Waris et al., 2014). People with catato

She looks at the mirror all the time to check her body image and she is obessive to the perfect world. Also, she washes her hand all the time, which indicates

29、that Ninas obessive-compusion disoder is presented. Etiology: the causes of schizophrenia From the Gendered and aged perceptions of schizophrenia that Nina is 30 years-old female Adults who is very vunerable to be afflicted with psychosis disorder.
