7、n-looking woman） Text.课文讲解（1）Some time ago ,an interesting discovery was made by archaeologists on the Aegean island of Kea. .some time “一段时间”或“较长一段时间”Sometime 指某一不确定的时间Sometimes 为频率副词，“有时候”Some times N次 .discovery 一词常与动词make搭配使用，后面常与about/in/of连用，They made a new discovery in astronomy他们在天文学上有了新发现（2

21、 fragments together .They were astonished to find that the figure was a goddess .The goddess was a modern -looking woman ,She had her hands on her hips and she was wearing a full-length skirt .Although the archaeologist tried very hard to identity her,they were unable to find out her name .
