5、newly-built/ rehabilitated road, double directions with four lanes.The whole width of road is 27.5m, the maximum width of filled slope is 12.25m, and the minimum width is 3.77m. Construction camp will be set up at Km665+500, 50m apart from the new road, with the length of 383m, the width of 360m, and the gross area of 10acres.

7、 The living camp will be built at Km660+240, 420m apart from the new road, and the storage area for road construction machineries will be placed 200m apart from the living camp, concrete mixing plant and tank will be set up 150m apart from the living camp. 8、verPermanentLand for temporary usageIn accordance with Page31, 43and 44 under the Land Law of Kazakhstan, the document concerning the right for long term usage of land must be made. 1. Prior to the commencement of works, the Contractor should submit to the Engineer with plan of cars on the productio

9、n base with the locations of the following: asphalt concrete mixing plant, cement concrete mixing plant, , stockpile area for road construction machineries, stockpile area for , quarry for soil, water intaking area and other buildings.2.The Contractor should obtain all permission document and docume

10、nt for the usage of land according to Page32, 36 and 43 of the Technical Specification under the Land Law of Kazakhstan. Prior to commencement of the road constructionCommittee of HighwaysGround （soil stratum） Climate of the subzone where the road construction will take place is characterized by con

11、siderable aridity of air, and little amount of precipitations. Soils along the road alignment are presented by serozems and common loamy and meadow serozem heavy loamy. Soils are not saline and weakly and average aggressive or non-aggressive to concrete. In the geological structure of the road align

12、ment have been revealed alluvial-proluvial deposits, represented by loamy sand, loam, sand and pebble. The vegetation layer height makes up 0,20-0,40 m. Humus content is 1,5-3,5 %Destruction, damage and contamination of the soil stratum with waste products and production residue. Contamination of th

13、e soil stratum with heavy metals namely wastes of “PK Juzhpolimetal” are possible. Period of performance of construction works1.According to P400, 500 of the Technical Standard, clearance of land should be conducted prior to removing the topsoil, including topple trees and plants, then move away the

14、 felling materials. 2. Taking off the soil fertile layer （SFL） with stratum 0,36 m, removal at the distance no less than 10 m from the operating area, warehousing and storage in piles, on the leveled surface of the temporarily occupied lands, for their further use at reclamation. To take off the top

15、soil in thawed condition at the period of warm and dry weather. 2. Strengthening the slopes of the subgrade and existing cavities to prevent the soil erosion. 3. Excluding underflooding of the territories adjoining the highway, soil degradation from motor transport impact. 4. Excluding cases of oil

16、products and waste oils spillage in the soil. Repairs of road construction equipment, replacement of waste motor and transmission oils must be performed on construction grounds, in specially allotted places having firm covering. Collected waste and replaced oils are sent to further regeneration. 5.

17、Road construction machines must be park only on specially allotted places. 6. All the destructive lands should be restored before completion of the works. Performance of technical and biological stages of the damaged lands reclamation. 7. Clearance of the territories of dust and recycling of waste.

18、For the working period containers for separate collection of waste must be provided at the site. 8. To conclude contracts of the waste removal. 9. The quality of soil should be inspected according to the ecological monitoring scheme at the laboratory specified in the Contract. 10. The Contract shoul

20、s will be taken respectibely from four quarries locating at 1000 cross 632+000, 7000 cross645+200, 3000 cross 647+200, 1 cross 663+100, 300 cross 669+100. The living camp will be placed at 660+500, 50m apart from the new road, and the production camp will be set up at 660+500, 50m apart from the new

21、 road. Concrete mixing plant and laboratory will be built at the production camp.Topsoil cleared will be stockpiled respectibely at 20m apart from the new road.Materials used for the filling of roadbed, subbase and base course will be deposited at 50m apart from the new road;Warehouse, as the storag

22、e location for the other materials, will be set up at 100m apart from the new road. The rehabilitation of the road will pass through the MASHAG village.Pollutant emissions in the atmosphere:, NO2, SO2, hydrocarbons, non-organic dust.Noise nuisance and vibrationPeriod of performance of construction w

23、orks 1. To receive permission for environmental emissions of all the working zones in accordance with Page69 under the Ecology Law in Kazakhstan.2. According to the Ecology Monitoring Plan, environmental quality inspection should be conducted with the specified laboratory, including confirmation of

24、basic data for environment, noisy and vibration, and technical note106.To perform systematic dedusting using water with consumption 1-2 l/m.3. Transportation of bulk material must be performed in a vehicle covered by canvas hood. Besides it is forbidden to load the material above the level of the la

25、teral and back ramp. 4. Unloading of asphalt-concrete mixes must be done only to receiving hoppers of asphalt spreaders. Unloading of asphalt-concrete mixes on the soil is prohibited. When laying asphalt-concrete mixes, containing toxic hydrocarbons, its necessary to provide a steady operating tempo

26、 of machinery and transport in the operating area. 5.To carry out monitoring of polluting emissions in the atmosphere under the contract with local qualified laboratory6. Installation of signs limiting traffic speed and regulating road traffic. Usage of high quality fuel.7.Following the schedule of

27、motor vehicles repair.8. During adverse meteorological conditions the works must be performed in accordance with the approved work schedule at IMU.9.Unloading of dust-producing materials is fulfilled in a mechanized way. 1.Control of the road conditions fulfill Requirements to the atmospheric air of

Noise management （shouldnt exceed the level of sanitary standards dB, established for population centers and operating areas by Ministry of Health KR, Order 139 as of 24.03.2005）8.
