1、歌谣和小诗的学习，目的有三：一是培养学生的语感和节奏感；二是提高发音的正确性；三是通过这些英语国家儿童所熟知的歌谣，介绍一定的西方文化。其中的一些不常用单词，不要求学生在歌谣之外学会使用。在本册中，我们将继续和Daming一起了解美国，然后了解Daming回到中国之后为小学毕业、升入中学学习做的准备。并了解一些关于英国的情况。我们将全面复习以前已以学习过的知识、技能、能力，对小学英语学习进行全面的巩固，为在中学进一步学习英语打好坚实的基础。课文中呈现了一些新的语法内容，但不要求老师讲解语法知识，更不要求学生掌握语法知识，而是要求学生初步学会运用这些语句。因此，整套教材都始终注意培养学生的学习方

2、法、创新能力、主体意识、独立工作能力、逻辑思维能力、观察判断能力等。练习的设计尽可能按照运用任务设计，避免单纯的模仿和机械的重复或脱离上下文的孤立的猜选；练习题的内容尽可能激发学生的兴趣和好奇心以及求知欲。我们知道儿童在放松、得到鼓励和开心快乐的心境下学习收获最大。因此，应努力创造一个快乐、有趣的课堂气氛，让学生感到学习英语是快乐有趣的游戏，而不是令人恐惧的艰难任务。笑容与幽默是每天应该带到教室的东西。应该努力为学生创造一个轻松、快乐、有趣的英语学习环境。同时，要求学生在英语课堂上尽量使用英语，学生自我表达有困难时，可以让他们使用一个简单的词来表达，如：This， That，What 和Whe
