8、ing. Under such circumstances, many teachers and educators, who have the foresight, have been engaged in the research of new teaching approaches, which can be adapted to the new textbook. However, teachers are forced to teach the new textbook with old methods, because of the “baton” of college entra
9、nce examination. Furthermore, old methods of assessment are still being used to evaluate the teaching level of a school or a teacher, which results in many teachers laziness and fear for reforms. They adopt the past structured teaching. Actually, they are ignoring and disobeying the requirement of c
10、ultivating students ability of language communication. Instead of leading in,many teachers just come to the point directly, explaining grammar and vocabulary and then doing some mechanical vocabulary exercises and training sentence patterns. Thus, for a long time, the ever-lasting and dull teaching
11、methods no wonder would give rise to students weariness and loss of interest in study, which directly influences the improvement of classroom efficiency.From this, there should be researches on the new National English Curriculums requirement for junior middle school English teaching among teachers
12、and they should make efforts to search for new teaching methods suitable for the new textbook. Classroom teaching is an art with many integrating informative, interesting, ideological and artistic aspects. Only when it is carried out well, can it improve the classroom efficiency and arouse students
13、interest in study. Actually, among the factors that affect classroom efficiency and stimulate students interest, a five-minute lead-in plays a very important role. As the first step towards building the relationship between teachers and students, as well as the warm-up exercises during the whole tea
14、ching activities, this lead-in can make the entire teaching go smoothly and harmoniously. Undoubtedly, once a teacher wins the students attention, enthusiasm for study and interest, he or she will achieve half success of classroom teaching. Since the thought foothold of teachers and teaching content

To deal with either the past old textbook or the present new textbook, teachers are required to reach an emotional goal in the process of teaching. Therefore, the approach of lead-ins which center on emotion would be the first step to reach the goal of emotional teaching.
