This paradox originated in idealistic agnosticism，and also rooted in the inevitable contradictions and difficulties arising in the process of translating and caused by the difference between national languages and cultures. Untranslatability is a d

5、isputed issue. In order to understand untranslatability, we should first make clear what are the translatability and the limitation of translatability. In this paper, untranslatability will be discussed from several aspects. On the basis of analysis of the cultural gaps, plus the limitation of trans
