It will introduce the development of historical writing from the ancient times through to the present day in English backgroun

Students will be encouraged to think over related issues in English, and assess sources that have been used to record the past along with examining the various methodologies employed by historians in studying history. Course ObjectivesA. To introduce major historians in different ages, as well as

To use discussion sessions as an opportunity to encourage a critical study of opinions and perspectives on issues raised by course materials.C. To develop analytical skills in assessing the past, and to apply these in discussions and in
