Inevermetadumbperson.Ibelievethat.Everyonehasauniqueandvalidviewoftheworld.Wearesimply,allofus,different.Someofusgettheresoonerthanothers.Andweareallgoodatsomething.Itissimplyamatteroffindingoutwhatitis.Workhardatwhateveryoudoandlifeitselfwillguideyou.Justfollowthesigns.

Ilearntinmywork,dealingwithpeopleroundtheworldandroundNewZealand,thatintelligenceisnotaverticalthing.Intelligenceismuchmoresubtle.Somepeoplearebrilliantacademicallybuttheymightbeterriblyboringandhopelesswithotherpeopleandtheymaynothavegoodattitudestolife.Itisnotjustintelligencethatwillgetyouahead.Moreimportantiswhatyou'vegotinyourgutsandyourheart.

Thereisanotherimportantthing.Yougetnothingthatisworthwhilefreeinlife.Youhavetodothework.Thereisnothingromanticabouthardwork.It'slonely.Itcanbeadrag.Butwhenyougetabreakatsomething,achancetodosomethingyoulove,thengoforitandworkhard.Workharderthaneveryoneelsearoundyou.

Andifyouworkhard,somethingelsehappens.Youwillgetevengreateropportunities.Andwhenopportunitycomesalong,takeit,becauseopportunityplushardworkequalsevenfurtheropportunitiesandluck.

Byluck,Imeanthatwhichyoumakeyourself.Imeantheluckthatcomesfromhardworkandagoodattitude.Ifyouworkhard,youwillbeluckyandyouwillsucceed.
