在IELTS听力考试中,常会出现让考生拼写人名或者地名的考题。

这就要求考生对英语的26个字母不仅要非常熟悉,而且要掌握其准确的发音。

如果你自己的发音不准,就会影响听音的准确性。

例如“Gill”中的字母“G”常常被考生误听成“J”,而字母“W”也常被考生误听成“Double”。

在IELTS听力考试中,还常常出现与数字相关的信息,如电话号码、时间、日期等,要求考生用最快的速度把这些信息抓住并准确地记录下来。

本单元就是通过日常对话、报告等针对人名、地名、数字以及数字相关的信息进行训练。

目的是:

1.帮助考生熟悉日常生活中常见的人名、地名、数字以及数字相关的信息,并能在实际交流中准确地拼出人名、地名,记录下数字及其相关信息。

2.通过字母拼写和数字练习培养学生边听边记的能力,改变只听不写的做法。

建议考生在做本单元联系过程中,当听到人名、地名、数字时一定要跟着重复或默读。

这样能加深印象,有助于准确地记住有关信息。

在数字练习中,如果掌握了三位数数字的听和记,应付较大的数字就比较容易了。

因为英文数字是以三位数为一组读出的。

例如:
