文章首段首句定位法
选项中具有指代的代词,一般不放在首段句首,复数名词(表示总体概念、类概念,一般放在句首),首段句首不能用连接词,祈使句或绝对化的句子.可以用前后矛盾的句子,即否定句加副词或介词词组结构,或双重否定的句子;也可以用含有可能,不肯定副词的句子,如sometimes,Maybe等.

Thereis/therewas 后接抽象名词;
It shows/suggests/turns out/proves…等表示结论意思的动词,在如:

转折处有状从或不定式短语做状语的句子不是主旨.
中心句中的名词/动词等与选项中的名词/动词能复现的即为答案!

and,or,but在选项中出现时通常比选其一,如果and入选通常表先后顺序
转折关系:
①标志词:
but,yet,however,although,though,while,inspiteof,despite,bycontrast,onthecontrary,文中一出现“but”“Although”“though”“however,”“while”等词,应该马上想到前后语意有转折。
只要知道其中一方的语意,就可以反向推出另一方的意思,从而解题。
完形填空题中,but一词后多半会设题。
所以,在考试时,只要看到but就做一个标记,遇到类似but这样表转折的词也同样处理。
这样便于回到原文去寻找解题的依据。
