Injectionmoldingmachineandonthecontrolofit

Modernplasticinjectionmoldingmachineisasetofmechanical,electricalandfluidinonetypicalsystem,asthisdevicehasformingcomplexproducts,lesspost-processing,processingcharacteristicsoftheplasticvariety,sinceitsinceptionhasgrownrapidly,thecurrentfullOver80%oftheworld'sproductsareusedplasticinjectionmoldingmachineforprocessing.

Conventionalinjectionmoldingmachinesgenerallyuseasimpleopen-loopcontrol,thatis,inaccordancewithapre-setvalueofcontrol.Inthedevicemanufacturingprocess,pre-configuredparametervalues,suchastheclampingforce,cycletime,temperature,etc.,fromthemachineintheproductionprocessbemaintained.Forexample,bycontrollingthedietemperaturecanbemaintainedthetemperatureofheatingfluid,plastictemperaturecanbeoutsidetheheatingdevicebycontrollingthepowertomaintain.Thiscontrolmethodofsimplestructure,however,pooranti-interferenceabilitytocontrolthetemperatureisrelativelylow.

Atpresent,moreinjectionmoldingmachineusesaclosed-loopcontrol,thatis,accordingtoon-linemeasurementvalueandsetthevalueofthedeviationcontrol.Closed-loopcontrolsystemusesanegativefeedbackloop,anti-jammingability,whentheinjectionspeed,injectionpressure,moldcavitytemperature,cavitypressure,melttemperatureandoilpressureduetointerferenceintheproductionprocess,deviationofthemachinethroughtheadaptivecontrolsystemforautomaticcorrectionofinterference.Thiscontrolmethodofanti-interferenceability,highcontrolaccuracy.Moreadvancedcontrolmethodistoapplycomputercontrolled,thatis,tobuildaclosed-loopreal-timecomputercontrolsystem.Itincludesdirectdigitalcontrolsystem(DDC),supervisorycomputercontrolsystem(SCC),distributedcontrolsystem(DCS)andmulti-levelcontrolofseveraltypes.

Commonlyusedinjectionmoldingmachinecontrolsystemhasthreekinds,namely,thetraditionalrelay-based,programmablecontrollersandcomputer-basedcontroltype.Inrecentyears,programmablelogiccontroller(referredtoasPLC)withitshighreliability,high-performancecharacteristicsininjectionmoldingmachinecontrolsystemhasbeenwidelyused.Inordertoimprovethelevelofinjectionmoldingmachinecontrolsystemandquality,ahigherlevelthanthePLC,controlsystemdesignspecificallyforsmallandmediumprogrammablecomputercontroller(PCC)cameintobeing.PCCintegratesastandardPLCandindustrialcontrolcomputerfeatures,multi-tasktime-sharingoperatingsystems,datacomputingandprocessingpowermorepowerfulthanthePLC.PCCformedwithinjectionmoldingmachinecontrolsysteminordertoachieve,includingpositioncontrol,speedcontrol,temperaturecontrol,faultcontrolandreal-timedisplaythewholeprocesssuchasinjectionmoldingavarietyofcontrolcangreatlyimprovethequalityofplasticproductswillhelpenhanceeconomicbenefits.

Controlofthecontentsoftheinjectionmoldingmachine

Injectionmoldingmachineprocesscontrolsystemmainlyconsistsoftwoparts:

First,thetemperaturecontrolsysteminordertorightbarrel,meltandmoldtemperaturecontrol;secondmotioncontrolsystemtotheprocessofinjectionpressure,velocityanddisplacementmultipleclassswitching.

Inthetemperaturecontrol,itscontrolaccuracyhasreacheda±1℃.Precisetemperaturecontrolinprecisioninjectionmoldingthathelpimproveproductqualityandavailabilityofrawmaterialsisaveryimportantindicator.Intheplasticprocessing,temperaturecontrolincludebarrel,nozzleandmoldtemperaturecontrol.Barreltemperatureofthebarrelsurfaceheatingtemperature,duetorelativelythickwallbarrel,sothechoiceofthermocoupledetectionpointiscritical,anddifferenttestpointsonthetemperaturecurveisalargedifference.Therefore,paralleldetectionofdouble-point,namely,surfaceanddeepinthebarrelatthesametimesetthethermocouples,willberelativelystabletemperaturecurveisconducivetotemperaturecontrolaccuracy.Nozzlemelttemperaturedirectlyaffectsthepassageoftheshearflow,thequalityoftheproductshaveamajorimpact,sothenozzletemperaturecontrolprecisiondemanding.Moldtemperatureisincontactwiththeproductmoldcavitysurfacetemperature,itwillsignificantlyaffectthechargemembrane,coolingandpackingprocess.Forthemoldtemperaturecontrolmethodcanbeusedcontroltheheatcarriertemperaturemethodcanalsodirectlycontrolthemoldtemperature.Intheformerapproach,inordertoheatthetemperatureforthecontroloftheexportvectorobjects,isrelativelysimpleandcanmeetthegeneraltemperaturecontrolrequirements.Whenthetemperaturecontrolprecisionishighgenerallyusethesecondmethodoftemperaturecontrol.

Injectionspeed,packingpressure,backpressureistheinjectionofpartofthesoltocontrolthefirstofthethreevariablesdirectlyaffecttheaccuracyofitscontrolproductquality.Modernmoreadvancedinjectionmoldingmachineequippedwith5-10multi-stageinjectionspeedandpacking,aswellasmeltgluebackpressurecontrol.Generallythroughdisplacement/velocitysensors,pressuresensors,closed-loopinjectioncontrol,andhighresponseservovalvesusedinconjunctiontoachievetheprocessofinjectionmoldingmeltgluebackpressure,injectionspeedandpackingconditionsofprecisecontrol.Anotherrelativelysimpleapproachistouseclosed-loopproportionalvalve,throughtheproportionalvalvespoolpositionoftheirownclosed-loopcontroltoimprovecontrolprecision.However,spoolpositionisanintermediatevariable,sothecontrolaccuracysomewhatless.

Transfermoldprocesscontrolvariableisthemainclampingforce,clampingforceandtimeagainisstableandthenecessaryconditionsforformingthecycle.Transfermodecontroloftheprocessshouldbeanotherimportantvariableislocation.Ontheonehand,advancedinjectionmoldingmachineconstantpursuitofefficiency,directlyaffectthespeedoftransfermoldmoldingcycle,andquicklytransfertothedecelerationcontrolmodeinitselfhasputforwardhigherrequirements.Ontheotherhand,duetospecialprocessofcontinuousdevelopmentandpromotionofpositioncontrolprecisionmoldshavebecomeincreasinglydemanding.

PLCandPCC

Sincethelate20thcentury,60theUnitedStatesthefirstprogrammablelogiccontrollerPLCinception,PLCcontroltechnologyhasgonethrougha30-yeardevelopmentprocess,especiallywithmoderncomputertechnologyandmicroelectronicstechnology,ithasbeeninthesofthardwaretechnologyisfaroutoftheoriginal"sequencecontrol"oftheprototypestage.ProgrammableComputerController(PCC)istorepresentthedevelopmenttrendofthisnewgenerationofprogrammablecontrollers.

PLCcomparedwithconventional,PCCisaformotioncontrol,processcontrolandnetworkcontrolofdedicatedcontrolsystem,isastandardPLC,numericalcontrolsystemsandindustrialperformancecharacteristicsofthecomputerinoneoftheintelligentcontroller.PCCisitsbiggestfeatureissimilartoalargecomputertime-sharingmulti-taskingoperatingsystemsanddiversesoftwareapplicationsdesign.Mostoftheconventionalsingle-taskPLCclockscanningormonitoringprocedurestodealwiththeprocessitselfofthelogicoperationinstructionsandexternalI/Ochannelstatusofcollectionandrefresh.Thistreatmentleddirectlyto"controlthespeed,"dependsonthesizeoftheapplication,thisresultisnodoubtthatI/Ochannelsinreal-timecontrolofthehighdemandreligions.PCC'ssystemsoftwaretheperfectsolutiontothisproblem,itusestime-sharingmechanismtobuildtheirapplicationsmulti-taskingsoftwareoperatingplatform,sothattheapplicationprogramrunningthelengthofcycleandhasnothingtodo,butbythedecisioncycleoftheoperatingsystem.Asaresult,itwillscancycleoftheapplicationwiththerealdistinctionbetweentheexternalcontrolcycletomeettherealrequirementsofreal-timecontrol.Ofcourse,thiscontrolcycleintheCPUcomputingpowertoallowthepremise,accordingtotheuser'sactualrequirements,arbitrarychanges.

PCCapplicationmodulesfromthemulti-taskstructure,thedevelopmentofapplicationsoftwaretotheprojecthasbroughtgreatconvenience.Becauseitcaneasilycontroltheprojectinaccordancewiththevariouspartsofthedifferentfunctionalrequirements,suchasmotioncontrol,dataacquisition,alarm,PIDregulatorcomputing,communications,control,namelythepreparationofacontrolprogrammodule(task),thesemodulesnotonlyoperateindependently,thedatabetweenoneanothertomaintainacertaininterrelated,thesemodulesthroughthestepbystepaftertheindependenceofthedevelopmentanddebuggingcanbedownloadedtothePCCalongwiththeCPU,intheregulationandmanagementofmulti-taskingoperatingsystemsruninparallelunderthejointrealizationoftheprojectcontrolrequirements.

PCCasingletaskinthepreparationofthedifferentmoduleswithaflexiblechoiceofthecharacteristicsofdifferentprogramminglanguages,whichmeansthatnotonlyinconventionalPLChasbeentopeoplefamiliarladder,instructionlistlanguagecancontinuetobeusedonthePCC,butuserscanbeusedmoreefficientandintuitivehigh-levellanguage(PL2000),whichisacompletetextforthecontroloflanguage,BASICtechnicalpersonnelfamiliarwiththesyntaxitwillfeelakindofdejavu,whichcontrolrequirementsforthedescriptionofaverysimple,intuitive.Inaddition,PCC'sapplicationsoftwaredevelopmentalsohasanintegrated"C"languageprogramcapacity,thusprovidingpowerfuldatacomputingand
