MacaoAMARALMetalStructures&CurtainWallsProjectofTurnabouts&CorridorsRebuildingisalarge-scaleglass&metalstructureprojectfeaturedofuniquemodeling,specialmaterialsandstricttechnicalrequirements.Itmainlyconsistsoftwoportions.Thefirstportionisapetallikemodelingconstructedby316Lstainlesssteelwiththeinner&outersurfacescoveredwithtoughenedPVB-interlayerglasswhichconsistof2patchesofTIP01,TIP02andTIP03respectively,4patchesofTIP04,1patchofTIP05,8patchesofTIP06totaling19patches.Plusthesupporttrussesinthemiddle,themetalstructureweighedabout300tonsandthetotalglassareareachesabout5,100M2.Thesecondportionisthecorridorsrebuildingthatconsistsof1,030tonsofS275SteelStructures,4,000m2aluminumCurtainWalls,4,250m2glassCurtainWallsand1,720m2glassstage.

3.FeaturesofSteelStructures&CurtainWallsProject

CurtainWallsprojectiscontractedbytheGeneralContractorwiththemainmaterialsattheOwner（theinvestor）’schoice.ThedesignistobeverifiedbyMacaodesigners.Thecomplicateddesignofthemetalstructureandtheperiodrequirementofthefieldoperationrequirestrictplantpreparations.TheexaminationperiodoftheCustomsmustbetakenintoaccountinintroducingfieldoperators,equipmentandmaterials.Thelocalstandardsreferencedinthedesigning&operatingofthisprojecthavegrinding-inperiodwithChinaNationalStandards.

Section2ConstructionGoals

I.QualityGoal

1.One-offacceptanceoftheprojectquality.

2.2yearswarrantyfortheoutsidedecorationsofthisproject,whichcountsfromthedateofacceptance&signature.Alltheexpensesarisingfromthereworkduetotheprojectqualitywithinthewarrantyperiodwillbeatourcost.

II.PeriodGoal

WewillcoordinateandcooperatewiththeGeneralContractorandotherconstructionunitstomaketheouterdecorationperiodmeettheoveralltimelimit,ofwhichtheinstallationperiodofmetalstructureandCurtainWallsis120days.

ThescheduledstartingdateisOct.5,2005withthespecificstartingdateasnotifiedbytheOwnerinwritten.

III.Safety&CivilizationGoal

InobediencetotheGeneralContractor’smanagementsoastoensurethesmoothfinishofthisproject.Toputanendtoseriouscasualtyaccidentsandtolowertheinjuryratepermonthtobelow0.1%soastoensurethecivilizedfieldconstruction.

IV.ContractingCommitments

ToabidebytheAgreementandtoprovidetheOwnerwithqualityservices.ToconstructqualityprojecttofulfillthecommitmentstotheOwner.
