Researchprogressoforganosiliconcoatings

Siliconeisthefirstwidelyusedelementsoftheorganicpolymercompound,hasexcellentperformancesduetoitsuniquechemicalstructure,widelyusedinvariousfieldsofnationaleconomy,butalsoplaysanimportantroleinthepaintindustry.Siliconecoatingsareorganosiliconpolymerandsiliconemodifiedpolymerasmainfilmcoatingmaterial,ithasexcellentheatresistance,electricalinsulation,coronaresistance,radiationresistance,moistureresistanceandweatherresistance,stainresistance,monkwaterandchemicalcorrosionresistanceandotherproperties,inrecentyearsintheimprovementandapplicationperformanceoftheproductshavebeentherapiddevelopmentof.

1siliconeresincoatingmadeoforganicsiliconresinfilmmaterial,mainlyheat-resistant,weatherresistantsiliconeanti-corrosioncoating,scratchresistanttransparentsiliconecoating,releaseandmoisture-proofcoatingsandradiationresistantcoatingsandothervarieties.

Coatingwithsiliconeresinwiththreemethylchlorosilane(CH3SiCl3),twomethyltwochlorosilane[(CH3)2SiCl2],three(C6H5SiCL3)phenylchlorosilane,twophenylchlorosilanetwo[(C6H5)2SiCl2]andmethylphenylchlorosilaneCHOtwo(C6H5)SiCl2asrawmaterialsforhydrolysispolycondensationprepared.Theeffectofmonomerstructure,numberandproportionoffunctionalgroupsonpropertiesofcoatingsisveryimportant.Thetypesoforganicgroupsconnectedonsiliconatomsalsoaffectthepropertiesofresins.Differentorganicgroupscanmakeorganosiliconresinsexhibitdifferentproperties.Forexample,whentheorganicgroupismethylsiliconeresin,withthermalstability,releasability,hydrophobicityandarcresistance;forphenyl,giventheoxidationstabilityofsiliconeresin,crystallinepolymercanbedestroyedinacertainrange;

Asthevinylgroup,thecuringpropertyoforganosiliconresincanbeimproved,andcouplingpropertyisbroughtintobeing;whenphenylethylisused,thecompatibilityoforganosiliconresinandorganicsubstancecanbeimproved.Thebasecanbeintroducedinthesiloxanebackbone,increaseitscompatibilitywithalkydresinandpolyesterresin;introducingphenyleneandtwophenylethersubunit,biphenylsubunitofaromaticsubunitandsiliconcarbonboronpolymers,radiationresistance,thetemperaturecanreach300to500DEGC;thebackbonestructurefortheSi-Nbondissiliconepolymer,itsthermalstabilityat400deg.Inpracticalapplication,differentorganosiliconmonomerscanbeselectedaccordingtotherequirements,anddifferentorganicgroupsareinducedintheorganosiliconresin.

ChenguangResearchInstituteofchemicalindustrywithaviscosityof20~s,40mPa-hydroxysiliconeoil(CH3)and2SiCl2methyltriethoxysilaneasrawmaterial,controlofnR/NSIis1.3~1.4,thequalityof2SiCl2(CH3)andhydroxylsiliconeoilratiowas7O:

3O,andthedropofwaterwayatthetemperatureof501Hhydrolysis.Getthemethylsiliconeresinhasgoodhardnessandelasticity,canbeusedforflameretardantcoatingswerepreparedbymetalfilmresistors.ChineseAcademyofsciencessoCH3SiCl3asthemainrawmaterial,acetoneandxyleneasthesolvent,solubletrapezoidwithnarrowmolarmassdistributionofpolymethylsiliconeresinwassynthesizedbythehightemperaturecoatingresinwithacertainamountofaluminumpowder,RTVsiliconerubberpreparedby250DEGC,old1000h,itsflexibility,oilresistanceandresistancehavegoodcorrosionresistance.HeFeiUniversityofTechnologysiloxanesilicatefourfunctionalgroupswiththreefunctionalgroups,throughstrictcontroloftotalhydrolysisreaction,thebasematerialispreparedwithsilicateandsiliconepolymerproperties,thebinderandfillerandotherauxiliarymaterialsaccordingtoacertainproportionoforganicsiliconheat-resistingcoatingmadeof.

2modifiedsiliconeresincoatingwhilethesiliconeresinhasmanyexcellentproperties,butalsohassomeproblems:

thegeneralneedforhightemperature(150~200DEGC)curing,curingtime,theconstructionoflargeareaisnotconvenient;adhesiontothesubstrate,organicsolventresistance,hightemperaturemechanicalstrengthofthefilmisnotgood,thepricemoreexpensiveetc..Inordertoovercometheseshortcomings,organicsiliconeresinwasusedtomodifytheorganicresin.Modifiedsiliconeresinusuallyhastheadvantagesoftworesins,whichcanmakeupforsomedeficienciesintheperformanceofthetworesins,therebyimprovingperformanceandexpandingapplicationfields.Therearetwokindsofmodificationmethods,physicalmixingandchemicalmodification.Theeffectofchemicalmodificationisbetterthanthatofphysicalblending.Chemicalmodificationismainlyontheendorsidechainofpolysiloxanechain,andthenreactwithotherpolymerstoproduceblock,graftorinterpenetratingpolymernetworks,thusobtainingnewproperties.Inthecoatingsindustry,siliconemodifiedorganicresinsaremainlyalkydresins.Acrylicresin,epoxyresin,etc..

2.1siliconemodifiedalkydresincoating

Theweatherabilityofalkydresinisimprovedgreatly.Anothermodificationistopreparereactiveorganosiliconoligomerstoreactwithfreehydroxylgroupsonalkydresins,andalsotouseorganosiliconoligomersaspolyolsandalkydresinsforpolycondensation.Thealkydresinmodifiedbychemicalreactionhasbetterweatherability.HunanUniversitypreparedbyalcoholysishydroxylalkydprepolymerandendtohydrolysisordifferentfunctionalsiliconeprepolymerpreparedbypolycondensationreactionsynthesis(AB)siliconealkydtypenblockcopolymer,andthecopolymerasbasematerialmadeofvarnish;comprehensiveperformanceofthevarnishexcellent,notonlyhasthealkydresinvarnishfilmflexibility,roomtemperaturecuring,impactstrengthandadvantagesofgoodadhesion,butalsogreatlyimprovetheheatresistance,ageingresistanceandanticorrosionpropertiesofwatermedium.

2.2siliconemodifiedacrylicresincoating

Siliconemodifiedacrylicresincoatinghasexcellentweatherability.Ithastheadvantagesoflightretention,colorretention,easypowderingandgoodgloss.Itiswidelyusedforprecoatingofmetalsheets,paintingofmachineequipmentandweatherproofdecorationanddecorationofinteriorandexteriorwallsofbuildings.Siliconemodifiedacrylicresinhastwotypes,solventandemulsion,ofwhichsiliconeacryliclatexcoatinghasexcellentweatherability,stainresistance,chemicalresistance,isanenvironmentallyfriendlygreenpaint.HubeiUniversityusesawater-solubleradicalinitiator,withhydrogencontainingsiliconeoilandbutylacrylateasrawmaterial,theexcellentperformanceofsilicone/acrylicemulsionwassynthesizedbyemulsionpolymerizationmethod;theemulsionhasgoodacidandalkali.Highandlowtemperatureresistanceandelectrolytestability,thecoatingspreparedwithithavegoodweatherabilityandstainresistance.Ji'nanChemicalResearchofacrylatemonomerandD4andvinylsevenmethylsiloxaneringfourasrawmaterial,byaddingacertainamountofgraftingagent,usingabatchofpolyacrylatestablesynthesisofpolysiloxaneemulsion.SichuanProvinceBuildingMaterialsIndustryResearchInstitutebypreemulsificationprocess,theactivityofsiliconeandacrylatemonomerbyemulsioncopolymerizationbyorganosiliconmodifiedacrylicemulsioncoatingpreparedwiththeemulsionofstainresistance,excellentcomprehensiveperformance.

FudanUniversitywithvinylsiliconemonomerandacrylate,methylacrylateandacrylicacidhydroxyestermonomerpolymerizationbyseedemulsionwasstablewithexcellentpropertiesofsiliconemodifiedacrylateemulsion.AcrylicsiliconeresinwasmodifiedbyorganosiliconmonomerinZhejiangUniversity,andsiliconeacrylicemulsioncoatingwasprepared.PolysiloxanepolyacrylateinterpenetratingnetworkcoatingsynthesisofChongqingUniversity,thecoatingiscolorlessandtransparent,highhardness,strongadhesion,aciddeposition,heatagingandhasgoodpermeability,canbeusedasantiweatheringmaterialsofrockfrictionmoment.

HHsiliconeacrylicresindevelopedbyShanghaiAcademyofbuildingresearchissuitableforthepreparationofweatherresistantcoatingswithhighweatherabilityformorethan15years.HeFeiUniversityofTechnologywithTEOShydrolysiscondensationparttopolysiloxanewithhydroxylacrylicresinwaspreparedbyorganicsiliconemodifiedacrylicresin;theresininacidandalkaliresistance,saltresistance,solventresistanceandimpactstrengthhassignificantlyimprovedcomparedwiththatofpurepolysiloxane,andhightemperatureresistanceisobviouslyimprovedacrylicresin.JiangsuarchitecturalmaterialsresearchandDesignInstituteintroducedacertainamountoforganosiliconfunctionalgroupinthesynthesisofacrylicresin,andpreparedthesolventmodifiedsiliconeresincoatingwithhighweatherability.TheChineseAcademyofSciencesofLanzhouInstituteofChemicalPhysicswithhydroxylterminatedpolytwomethylsiloxane,intwoundertheactionofazoisobutyronitrile,andmethacrylicacid(ester)monomersbysolutioncopolymerization,siliconrubbermodifiedacrylicresin,theresinhasgoodheatresistance.
