1InGeneral

1.1Thisdeliveryconditionsspecifythemainspecifications,technicalconditions,deliveryscope,packing,factorywarranty,spareparts,etc.forthe8320ZCd-8dieselengine.

1.2Whenex-factory,theenginesshallbeinaccordancewiththetechnicalrequirementsstipulatedinthisdeliveryconditions.

1.3Forthedetailsofthefittingdataandtheex-factorytestrecords,seetheTechnicalCertificate.

1.4Fortheparticularrequirementsfromusers,suchastotakeouttheoutputpowerfromthefrontendoftheengine,tomodifythedimensionsofconnectingtheflywheelwiththecoupling,touseGeislingerflexiblecoupling,toinstalltheremotecontroldevice,etc,theymustbestipulatedinthedeliverycontract.

1.5Thetorsionalcalculationmustbecarriedoutwhenprojectingthepropulsionplantinordertosatisfytherequirementofsafetyandoperation.Ifthefrontendoutputshaftisapplied,theequivalentsystemforthetorsionalcalculationshalladdrelativemasspointstoensuretheaccuracyofcalculation.

1.6Whentheengineisusedasthemainpropulsionplantwithahead&asternclutchgearbox,itisnotpermittedtoengagetheclutchgearboxwiththeengineatminimumidlingspeedtoavoidtheenginestopsautomaticallyduetothesharpreductionofthespeed.Thespeedforpre-engagementshallbedecidedaccordingtotherequirementsforequipmentsoftheshaftsystem.Therecommendedspeedforpre-engagementis55~60%oftheratedspeedoftheengine.

1.7Thesupplieroftheremotesystemmustsetsuitablepre-engagementspeedfunctionfullyconsideringtherequirementforcontrolsystemfromtheengineandahead&asternclutchgearboxtoensuretheenginecanoperatenormallyduringtheoperationofengagementanddirectionchange.

1.8Incasethattheequipmentitemanditsquantitysuppliedbythefactorydifferfromthesameshowninthistechnicalconditionsdocument,thedeliverycontractwillprevail.

1.9GuangzhouDieselEngineFactoryholdstherighttoreplacethepartsorcomponentslistedinthisScopeofDeliverywiththeonesofthesameperformanceorthebetterwhenitisnecessary.

3.2TheSFOCoftheengineisbasedonthefueloillowcaloricvalueof42700kJ/kg.

3.3Thereferenceconditionsfortheunrestrictednavigationareaengineaccordingto2001(CCS)areasfollows:

3.4Theoverloadrating(1hour)isreferredas110%ofratedoutputprovidingthattheengineisoperatedforonehourevery12hours.

3.5Whentheengineisoperatedatthecontinuousoutputpower,thedifferencebetweenthefollowingoperatingparametersincylindersshallnotbemorethanthefollowingstipulatedvalue:

3.6Theengineunderthecoolstatuswiththeambienttemperaturenotlessthan5℃shallbestartedupwithin10seconds.

3.7Theairbottlewithitsairpressureof2.94MPacanbeusedforstartingtheengineformorethan6timeswithoutfillinguptheairbottlewithair.

3.8Theengineisallowedtobeoperatedattheloadoflessthan20%ofratedoutputforashorttimewhentheturbochargerfailstooperateduetoitsdefault.Butatthattime,thecoveroftheairinletchambershouldberemoved.

3.9Itshallbeallowedthattheengineistobeoperatedattheloadofnotmorethan50%ofratedoutputforashorttimewhenoneofthecylindersisoutoffiring.

3.10UsersshalltakethetorsionalcalculationfortheshaftingwithtorsionalcalculationdataoftheenginefromGDFandthecalculatingresultshallagreetotherequirementofCCS.GDFcandothatfortheuserwithextracharge.

3.11ThecostforpackingandCCSinspectionwillbeextracharged.
