一、.意思:
1.可表示“避开”(keeponeselffrom)某人或某物;
Youshouldavoidsuchmistakes.你应当避免这样的错误。
2、“防止”(prevent):
Trytoavoidaccidents.尽量防止发生事故。
二、从用法上看,其后+名词性成份(含:
名词或代词作宾语,也可接动名词作宾语,但是不能接不定式作宾语。
如:

Heavoidedansweringmyquestions.他避而不答我的问题。
Itwasimpossibletoavoidbeingaffected.要想不受影响是不可能的

一、wake
1.wake意为“醒;叫醒”,
不及物动词或及物动词,常与副词up连用。
二、awake表示“醒;弄醒”的意思时,比wake稍微正式些,不如wake常用。
可以用作形容词,作表语,意思是“醒着的”。
eg:
Isheawakeorasleep?
他醒着还是睡着?
相关词组:
awaketo(sth)对某事物醒悟;觉悟;觉察到。
eg:
Areyouawaketothedangeryouarein?
你意识到你自己所处的危险了吗?

eg:

3.backsth.\sb.up支持某人,证明某事实属实

一、bad的用法
1.“坏的”,
引申用法:
“不舒服”、“糟糕的”、“严重的”等。
如:

2.注意搭配:
Heisbadattellingstories.他不善于讲故事。
Readinginthesunisbadforyou(youreyes).在太阳下看书对你(你的眼睛)有害。

二、badly的用法
1.其比较等级变化不规则(worse,worst)。

(连续地)打;(心)跳动,击败;eg:

总结:
①beat强调连续或反复地“打”,因此像心脏跳动、打鼓、打拍子等之类具有连续性或反复性的动作,一般要用beat。
②hit和strike都可表示有意或无意地打或撞等,往往含有重重一击或用力敲打等之意,此时两者常可换用

1)a bit 只修饰处于补足语位置上的形容词,不能修饰名词短语前的形容词,
这时与a little 一样。

2)a bit 不能直接修饰名词,须用 a bit of,(但 a little 则可以)如:
I have a little money with me. I have a bit of money with me.
(错误用法:
I have a bit money with me.)
3)否定句中not a bit 和 not a little 的意义正好相反。
He is not a bit tired(他一点也不累)
He is not a little tired.(他相当累)
