【知识梳理2】形容词及副词的比较级用法
（一）形容词比较级的用法
1、形容词的比较级可以单独使用：
Bemorecarefulnexttime.下次小心点。
Whichbookisbetter?
哪本书更好？
2、也可以和than连用，表示两者相比，than后可以跟：
a.名词或代词：
Heisolderthanme/I.他年龄比我大。
b.动名词：
Skiingismoreexcitingthanskating.滑雪比滑冰更刺激。
c.从句：
Iwasabettersingerthanhewas.我唱歌比他好。

本题考查形容词的比较级。
"than”是比较级的标志，它表示两者作比较，应使用形容词strong的比较级stronger，故选B项。

【常考易错点】形容词比较级的修饰语
1、形容词比较级前可加much,alot,abit,alittle,slightly之类表示程度的状语：
He’sfeelingmuchbettertoday.他感到今天好多了。
2、也可在比较级前any,no,some,even,still这类词：
Doyoufeelanybettertoday?
你今天感觉好一点了吗？
3、比较级前还可加其他表示数量的词：
Mysisteristenyearsyoungerthanme. 我妹妹比我小十岁。
【重难点】形容词比较级的特殊用法
1、和more有关的词组：
1）themore…themore…越……就越……。
例如：
Theharderyouwork，thegreaterprogressyou'llmake.越努力，进步越大。
2）nomorethan与…一样。
例如：
TheofficialscouldseenomorethantheEmperor.官员们看到的和皇帝一样多。
3）morethan超过，不只是。
例如：
Therearemorethantwothousandpeopleinthehall.
2、和less有关的词组
1）lessthan不到…不太：
Itwasreadyinlessthanaweek.
2）nolessthan多达，不少于
Nolessthan2millionpeoplecame. 至少来了2百万人。
3）moreorless基本上，大体上，大约
Theworkismoreorlessfinished.这项工作基本上完成了。
3、还有as+形容词或副词原级+as
1）not…so/as…as。
例如：
Hecannotrunso/asfastasyou.他没你跑得快。
2）当as…as中间有名词时采用以下格式：
①as+形容词+a+单数名词/；
②as+many/much+名词。
例如：
Thisisasgoodanexampleastheotheris.这个例子和另外一个一样好。
Icancarryasmuchpaperasyoucan.你能搬多少纸，我也能。
3）表示倍数的词或其他程度副词做修饰语时，放在as的前面。
例如：
Thisroomistwiceasbigasthatone.这房间的面积是那间的两倍。
Yourroomisthesamesizeasmine. 你的房间和我的一样大。

考查few与little的区别。
本题由句意入手，“医生叫玛丽多吃蔬菜，少吃肉，因为她正变得越来越胖。
”由后边的原因状语从句来看主句中也应为比较级，排除A、C选项，vegetable为可数名词，用many的比较级more修饰，meat为不可数名词，用little的比较级less修饰，故本题选B。
例题2:

[答案]A。

（二）副词的比较级的用法
1、单独使用：
Trytodobetternexttime.下次争取干好一点。
He’llcomebacksoonerorlater. 他迟早会回来的。
Pleasespeakmoreslowly.请讲慢一点。
2、和than一起使用：
HeswimsbetterthanIdo.他游泳游得比我好。
Canyoudoanybetterthanthat?
你能不能干的好一些？
Hearrivedearlierthanusual. 他到的比平时早。
3、比较级前可有状语修饰：
Youmustworkmuchfaster.你必须大大加快干活的速度。
Canyoucomeoverabitmorequickly?
你能稍稍快点来吗？
4.as…as和notso…as结构
这两个结构也可结合副词使用：
1）as…as可用在肯定句中，表示“像…一样”，后面的副词要用原级：
Shecanrunasfastasadeer.她能跑的像鹿一样快。
2）在否定句中，as…as和so…as都可以用：
Idon’tgothereasmuchasIused.我现在到那里不象过去那么多了。
Ididn’tdoas（so）wellasIshould. 我做的不如我应做的那么好。
3）这种句子中也可以有一个表示程度的状语：
Shecanreadtwiceasfastashedoes. 她阅读的速度比他快一倍。
【常考重难点】
一方在程度或数量上超过另一方时，可在比较级前加程度副词even，alot，abit，alittle，still，much，far，yet，byfar等来修饰。

此题考查比较级。
