1.LackofInterest
Incurrentreadingclass,theteachers’roleisalwaysdominantandactive.Theyalwaysdirectthelearningprocess,superviseandcorrectthestudents’behavior.Andtheyattachtoomuchimportancetotheirownlectures.However,thestudents’roleispassive,learninggrammarandvocabularyonlythroughtheteachers’analyzationofsentences.Inthisway,awholepassageistotallytorntopieces.What’smore,mostoftheteachersalwayspaylittleattentiontothesignificanceofpre-readingactivity.Throughcommunicatingwithmanyteachersinseniorhighschool,youcanfindeasilythatlead-inisjustawasteoftimeintheirmind.Andteachersalsoalwayschoosesomeoutdatedmaterialsintheteachingprocess.Inthiscase,thereadingclassmustbeextremelydull.Andfurthermore,thestudents’interestcannotbestimulated.
2.FailingtoDevelopStudents’CommunicativeCompetence
