Abstract:

Withthedevelopingofinternationalbusinesstrade,China’seconomicisgraduallymixingintotheworldeconomicsystem.Inordertoachieveinternationalcooperationandpromotethedomesticeconomic,peopleneedpropercommunication.Businessetiquettesareanimportantbridgeininternationalbusinesstrade.Meanwhiletheincreaseininternationalbusinessandinforeigninvestmenthascreatedaneedforexecutiveswithknowledgeofforeignlanguagesandskillsincross-culturalcommunication.Whilethereareculturaldifferencesbetweencountries,sothedifferentculturalwillalsocausedifferentbusinessetiquettes.Thereforepeopleneedtounderstandthebusinessetiquettesfromdifferentculturalbackground.While,Ifsomeonewanttounderstandthechangesofbusinessetiquettesincross-culturalcommunication,shenotonlyneedstoknowthedifferencebetweenChineseandforeigncultural,butalsosheneedstoknowtheoriginanddevelopmentofbusinessetiquettes.Sothisthesiswillgoingtodiscussthechangesofbusinessetiquettesincross-culturalcommunicationbasedontheaboveaspects.Andpredictthebusinessetiquettesinthefuture.

摘要:

随着国际贸易的发展,中国经济逐渐融入世界经济体系。

在这个过程中,为了更好的实现国际合作促进经济发展,就需要有效的交际,而商务礼仪正是跨文化交际的桥梁。

同时不断发展的国际贸易及跨国公司的成立,使得了解国外文化成了人们必须掌握的技能。

然而国与国之间都存在着文化差异,因此不同的文化环境下也会形成不同的商务礼仪,所以就必须从文化差异的角度去了解商务礼仪。

然而商务礼仪是不断变化的,要了解商务礼仪的变迁,不仅需要了解中外文化差异还要了解商务礼仪的起源与发展。

因此这篇文章将从以上几个方面研究跨文化交际中商务礼仪的变迁并预测商务礼仪的发展趋势。

2.1TheOverviewofBusinessEtiquettes

2.1.1Theconceptofbusinessetiquettes

Themostimportantthinginlifeispolite,itisthehighestwisdom,ismoreimportantthanallknowledge.Etiquetteisthepeoplewholookinsidetherespectoflove,throughthebeautifulinstrument,ceremonyexpressioncomesout.Etiquetteistheprocessandmeanstoshowrespecttoeachotherininterpersonalrelationshipbycertain,commonprocedures.TheEtiquettecanbesaidtobeaperson’sexternalappearanceofinwardcultivationandquality.Etiquetteisthebasiccriteriaofcoordinatingtherelationshipbetweenhuman.Themainroleofetiquetteistomaintainanddeveloprelationships,Alsoitisanimportantsymbolofhumancivilizationandprogress.WhileBusinessetiquetteisacompanyorenterprisebusinesspeopleinbusinessactivities,inordertocreateagoodimageofindividualsorcompaniestheyshouldfollowthecontactstoshowrespectandfriendshipnormsorprocedures,inotherwordsitcanbesaidthatinbusinessdealingsshouldobserveinteractionsArt.

Inbusinessactivities,inordertoshowrespect,thepeopleneedthroughsomecodeofconducttodisciplineinallaspectsofthebusinessactivities,includinginstrumentetiquette,manners,epistolarycontact,telephonecommunicationskills,frombusinessactivitiesoccasionsandcanbedividedintoofficeetiquette,dailycommunicationetiquette,receptionetiquette,banquetetiquette,hospitalityetiquette,etc.Alongwiththeinternationalassociationoffrequentanduniversalandinordertomaketheeconomymoreproper,whichrequirebusinesspeopleunderstandanduseappropriateinternationalbusinessetiquettetofriendlyandsincerecommunication,communicationandcooperation.

Businessetiquettealsoincludessomebasicprinciples,suchas:

respectfortheprincipleofgoodfaithwillbethehumbleprinciples,theprinciplesoftoleranceandtheprincipleofproportionality.Atthesametime,becausethebasicfeaturesofbusinessetiquette:

The‘‘Cross-culturalcommunication,’’whichEnglishnameis‘‘cross-culturalcommunication(orinter-culturalcommunication)’’.Itreferstothenativeandnon-nativespeakersofcommunication,andalsoreferstothecommunicationofanydifferencesinlanguageandculturalbackgroundbetweenpeople.Itispopularwithforeigners,ifyouaredealingwith(duetodifferencesinlanguageandculturalbackgrounds),shouldpayattentiontowhattheproblemis,howtocommunicategracefully.OrfromaprofessionalpointofForeignlanguageview,theconceptof‘‘cross-culturalcommunication’’canbedefinedlikethis:

2.2.2Thecontentofcross-culturalcommunication

Cross-culturalmanagementisoneoftheimportantissuesfacingthemodernenterpriseandcross-culturalcommunicationisatoppriority.Effectivecommunicationisthestartingpointforcross-culturalenterprisemanagement.

Peopleareanimalsofthesociety,andliveinthecommunicationsometimeswhattheChinesepeopleconsideredtobepolitemaynotbetrueaccordingtowesternculture.Whenpeopleofdifferentculturalbackgroundscommunicatewitheachother,misunderstandingsaswellasconflictscomeup.Worldsurroundedbyobjects.Communicationactivitiessatisfythepracticalneeds----materialtransformationormessagecommunicationaswellastheprocesssuitableforthesocialrules.Communicationistheprerequisiteforthesmoothandsuccessfulrelationshipamonghumanbeingsanditpromoteshumanbeings’development.Sotheremustexistcross-culturalcommunication.

Firstcommunicationbothpartiesmustcomefromdifferentculturalbackground.

Aculturaldifferenceinbackgroundisabroadconcept,isreferstothedifferencebetweenthedifferentculturalcircles,andalsoreferstothesameculturecirclethedifferencebetweeninternalsubculture.

Secondcommunicationbothpartiesmustusethesamelanguage.Usethesamelanguageisnecessary.Forexample,duringcommunication,ifonecountryusesakindoflanguage,thenothercountryuseanotherlanguage,theycannotcommunicationsmoothly.Fordifferentcountryhavedifferentculture,thereisculture-difference,sowhentheycommunicationwiththesamelanguage,theydonotneedtranslator,whichcansavealotoftime.

Cross-culturalcommunicationiscommunicationoccursinpeopleofdifferentculturalbackgrounds.Closecross-culturalcommunicationisanimportantfeatureintoday’sworld.Withtheaccelerationofeconomicglobalization,transnational,cross-culturalexchangesincreasingly,andfrequentcross-borderexchangesofpersonnelfromdifferentculturalbackgroundsgrowingemergenceofalargenumberofmultinationaldiversifiedculturalbackgroundmakesthetrendoflaborisincreasinglyevident.Cross-culturalcommunicationisbecomingincreasinglyimportant.Meanwhile,the‘‘cross-culturalcommunicationscience’’asanewdisciplinearemoreandmoreimportant.

Culturaldifferencesbecomesoimportant,soonlyunderstandingthecontextoftheculturaldifferencesinthreemechanismsofaction,ontheonehandunderstandingtheactualprocessofdeepeningofculturaldifferences;Ontheotherhand,keepingawarenessoftheprobleminthecommunicationprocess,thecomprehensiveusingofvariouscommunicationskills,continuetoresolvedifferences,willpromotethecross-culturalcommunicationsmoothly.

3.TheRelationshipbetweenCross-CultureCommunicationandBusinessEtiquettes

Etiquetteisthebasisofthecivilizationofthewholesociety,andisthesocialcivilizationisthemostdirectformofthemostcomprehensive.Etiquettehelpsimprovepersonalqualities,helpstobuildgoodrelationships,contributetothemaintenanceofpersonalandcorporateimage.
