”Thewordsputfearintotheheartsofall,becausetheyknewwhatlocustscoulddo,andtheyhadneverseensomanyofthembefore.Innotimethelocustscamedownandstartedeatingeverything–thewheat,thecorn,thegrassandeventheleavesonthetrees.Thefarmersbroughtoutthingstofightthelocusts.Theytriedeverything.Butwhiletheywerekillingthelocustsinoneplace,millionsmorearrivedinanother.WhatcouldthefarmersdoSuddenlytherewasagreatnoise.Astheylookedup,theysawanothercloudcomingtowardsthem.Totheirsurprise,theysawnotlocuststhistime,butseagulls.Thefarmerscriedout,“They’vecometoeatwhatthelocustshaveleft.”Buttotheirjoy,theyfoundthattheseagullshadcometoeatnotthecrops,butthelocusts.TheyhadseenorsmelledthelocustsandhadcomefromtheGreatSaltLake.Nowtheywereeatingthelocusts!
