一、课程前言：
Theword‘economy’and‘economics’areoftenappearinginthenewsinourtime.Wearemakingvariousdecisionseverydaymanyofwhichareeconomicdecisions.Unconsciously，weareaffectingtheeconomyofoursociety，andinturn，thenationaleconomyinfluencesourdailydecision-making.
ReasonswhyweshallstudytheEconomicsarevariousaswell.However，therearetwomainreasonsapotentialstudentofEconomicsshallkeepinmind.
Thefirstisthatthecoursewillhelpstudentsunderstandtheworldinwhichwelive.Thecoursewillanswermanyofyourcuriosities：
Whycompaniesoftendopromotionbyloweringtheprices?
Howshallacompanydecidetheirpricesfortheirproducts?
Whysomeindustrieshavesuchafiercelevelcompetitionwhilstothershavealesserdegree?
Howshallacustomerdecidewhattobuy?
Whysomecountrieshavehigherstandardsoflivingthantheothers?
Whyacountrycannotsolvetheproblemofunemploymentcompletely?
Whypricesgoupordownsometimesastimepassesby?
Thesecondreasonisthatthecoursewillmakeamoreastuteparticipantintheeconomy.Asyougoaboutyourlife，youmakemanyeconomicdecisions.Whileyouareastudent，youdecidehowmanyyearstostayinschool.Onceyoutakeajob，youdecidehowmuchofyourincometospend，howmuchtosave，andhowtoinvestyoursavings.Ifyouarerunningasmallbusinessoralargecorporation，youwilldecidewhatproductsyouareproducingandhowmanytoproduce.Thecoursewillprovideyouanewperspectiveonhowbesttomakethesedecisions.Studyingeconomicswillnotbyitselfmakeyourich，butitwillgiveyousometoolsthatmayhelpinthatendeavor.
Therefore，studyingEconomicswillbeanexcitingjourneyinyourstudentlife.Enjoyit
