学习目标

1.表示因果关系(短语前可加can/could)

(be)dueto+名词由于(表/状语)

cause/becausedby导致,引起

can/could+=leadto+名词(无被动语态)

(be)becauseof+名词因为

由于下雨比赛被取消了.(状语)

2.情态动词表示劝告

must必须(表义务责任,语气直接强硬)

mustalways/never定总要/永远不能

mustn’t一定不要

should/shouldn’t(不)应该

(表示温和的建议或命令)

ought(not)to=should(n’t)

3.动词与介词搭配

stealsthfromsb/sw从某人/处偷取东西

robsb/swofsth抢劫某人/处的东西

accusesbofsth指控某人犯某罪

convictsbofsth判决某人有罪

givetheverdictof(not)guilty判某人有/无罪

findsbguiltyofsth查明/判定某人犯某罪

arrestsbforsth因某罪行逮捕某人

sentencesbtosth判处某人某徒刑

sendsbtoprison将某人关进监狱

4.动宾搭配

commitacrime/anoffence犯某种罪行

give/hearevidence提供/听取证词

givesbafine处以罚金

payafine缴纳罚金

5.反意问句(口诀)

构成:

反意问句很简单,

陈述句后两字添:

一是助v系v或情v,

二是主语代词记心间(不用名词),

前面肯定后面否,(缩写)

反之亦然要记牢。

Therebe有变化,

不用代词用there。

语调:

陈述句降调读,

后部升降分清楚↗↘

有疑惑读升调,

没有疑惑读降调。

回答:

反意问句答语难,

难在前否后肯这一点。

Yes肯定,No+否(not),

这一规则清记牢。

汉译时要注意,

Yes译“不”,No译“对”。

①祈使句多用willyou/couldyou

②can/may/must表示推测时,要与其后的动词一致

Hecanbeathome,isn’the?

③一般情况下,含有宾语从句的主从复合句,其反意问句与主句一致,但think/believe/suppose+从句,要与从句一致
