Askstudentstohaveabrainstormandthenanswerthefollowingtwoquestions:

Step3Observation

AskstudentstofocusonthesixpicturesonPage1.Encouragethestudentstoformpairsanddiscussthecontentsofeachpictureandtrytodividethesixpicturesintotwoparts.Thus,encouragethestudentstopayattentiontothefunctionsofthecommercialadvertisementsandpublicserviceadvertisements.

Step4Discussionandspeaking

Organizethestudentsintosixgroupsandaskeachgrouptotalkaboutoneofthesixpicturesinfrontofthewholeclass.Eachgroupshouldchooseonerepresentativetopresenttheirideastothewholeclass.Thethreequestionscanhelpthestudentstostartthediscussion.
