Criticismhasbeenincreasingforyearsaboutthelackofcivilityonthepartofsomeparentswhotakeanintenseinterestintheiryoungsters’sportingactivities.EvidenceisseeninarecentheadlineinChristianScienceMonitor:

“StifferPenaltiesforHead-ButtingtheReferee”.Thearticlegoesontodetailhowadultsofthebabyboomergenerationseemprone(易于)toexpresstheirdistressatofficialrulingsinyouthsportsthroughphysicalattacksonofficials.
