Inthefieldofeducation,therehasbeenexistingaheatedargumentonwhetherornotachildshouldstartschoolingatanearlierage.Althoughsomepeopleclaimthatitcanbringaboutsomebenefitsforachildtoattendschoolearlier,yetthesideeffectsofthispracticeonchildrenaremuchmorethanthepositiveones.Inthisshortessay,wewillconductathoroughanalysisofthereasonswhyachildshouldgotoschoolatanolderage.

2.NatureVs.Nurture

Nowhereintheworldhastheissueofchildren’seducationbeensomuchdebatedasinoursociety.Nowadays,manyparentslettheirchildrenattendallkindsofcoursesortrainingclasses,becausetheyassumethatthepostnatalnurtureismoreimportantthanthecongenitalfactorsforpersonalgrowthandprogress.Actually,thisviewisabsolutelytrue,asischieflysupportedbythefollowingthreereasons.

Themainreasonisthatsuccessofachildcannotbeseparatedfromappropriateeducationandpersonaleffort.Currently,lotsoffamousscientistsandpoliticiansgainhugesuccessintheworld,astheresultoftheirpropereducationandconstanthardwork.Moreover,themainreasonwhyplentyofdevelopingcountrieslagbehindinscienceandtechnologyisinevitablyascribedtotheirlessadvancededucation.

Anotherreasonisthatifpeopledonotworkhardbutonlydependontheirhighintellect,theywillbefarfromsuccessful.Forinstance,thelittleBronte(thebrotherofBronteSisters’)wasquitecleverduringhischildhood;hewasparticularlyadeptatwriting.Buthewassosatisfiedwithhissuperiorintellectthathedidnotstudyhard.Finally,hebecameanidleperson.However,hissistersbecamefamousauthorsasaresultoftheirhardstudy.Charlottewrote“JaneEyre“,and“WutheringHeights”waswrittenbyEmily.

Lastbutnottheleastreasonisthattheinventionofnewtechnologicalinstrumentscanshortenthedistanceinintelligenceorcompensateforthisgap.Forexample,inthepast,thedifferenceofmathematicalabilitywasremarkable.Withtheinventionofthecalculator,peoplecanhardlyfindoutthedifference.Nevertheless,thegoodcommandofthosenewinventsdependsonthetrainingorinstructionprovidedfortheusers.

(Balancedframework)

Therehasbeenexistingaheatedargumentonwhethertoliveintheruralareaentailsmorebenefitsthantoinhabittheurbanregion.Somepeopleclaimthatitismorebeneficialforaperson’scareerdevelopmentifhelivesincities;howeverothersmaintainthatthecountrysidecanprovidefavorableconditionsforapersontostayhealthy.Inthisshortessay,wewillexplorethepositiveandnegativeeffectsoflivinginthesetwodifferentregionsrespectively.

Asstatedabove,citiescanoffermoreopportunitiesforapersontofurtherdevelophiscareer,becausetheyaretherendez-vousofhumanandmaterialresources.Besides,therearemanywell-establishedfacilitiesandinstitutionslocatedintheurbanarea,suchasschools,hospitals,recreationalcentersandsoon.Thesecomponentsinthelargeframeworkofcitiescanensurelifeconvenienceforthoseinhabitants.However,somanypeoplecrowdingintocitiesandsomanyindustriesandenterprisesstayingthere,areboundtocauseseriouspollution,whichconstitutesaseveredrawbackofcitylife.

Nevertheless,toliveinthecountrysidecanovercomethistrade-offofthecitylife,astheexistenceoffewindustrialfacilitiesandofasmallpopulation,isconducivetomaintainingacleanphysicalenvironment.Withfewersourcesofpollution,peopletherecanhaveaccesstofreshair,cleanwater,andgreenfood,whicharethenecessaryelementsonwhichpeoplerelytokeephealthy.Inaddition,asmallpopulationcanfosterthedevelopmentofacloserelationamongitsmembers.However,theabove-statedbenefitsoflivinginruralareascannotmakeusoverlooktheweaknessofthislifepattern.Asisknown,livinginthecountrysidemeanssomeinconveniencesinlife,likefewerschoolsandhospitals.

Drawingontheabovediscussions,wecanseequiteclearlythatlivingineitherofthesetwoareasinvolvesbothadvantagesanddisadvantages.Toliveincitiesmeansmorecareerchances,butpollution,whilelifeinconveniencesaretobeencounteredbythoseruraldwellers,thoughtheycanenjoyahealthyphysicalenvironmentandafriendlyhumansetting.Observedfromthisperspective,thisissueisoneofthosehighlycomplicatedcasesinourlifethatneedtobeconsideredinadialecticalmanner.
