Majoredinliterarystudiesasanundergraduate,IwouldnowliketoconcentrateonEnglishandIrishliterature.Iamespeciallyinterestedinnineteenthandearlytwentieth-centurynovel,VictorianandnaturalistpoetryandEnglishRenaissancetheatre.Mostofmypersonalliteraryprojectshaveinvolvedsomecombinationofthesesubjects.AsapartofmydramacourseIwroteanessayonShakespeare'sKingLearmeasuringitagainsttheAristoteliancriteriaforatragedy.IalsowroteananalysisofThomasHardy'sTessoftheD'Urbervillesfocusingontheelementof"Religioushypocrisy".I'mveryhopefultocontinuewritingliterarycriticismonnovelsandbeabletoimprovemypaperssothatImaybeabletowriteoneworthyofpublication.

Inmystudiestowardamaster'sdegree,Ihopetoapproachnineteenth-centuryliteraturemoreintently.MysenioryearandindependentstudiesofVictorianliteratureledmetoconsiderthecomparisonofsignificanceofnatureandnaturalelementsbetweenromanticandnaturalistpoetryandnovel.

However,whenIstartedFacultyofEconomicsandAdministrativeSciences,Iknewthatitwillbemorebeneficialformeasitwillbroadenmyperspectiveandimprovemycareerprospects.Economicsandmarketing-subjectsnewtome-wereinteresting,andIenjoyedapplyingquantitativeandconceptualskillstoanalyzebusinessproblems.Ididverywellinprojects,deskresearch,workshopsandclassdiscussion,althoughacademicallyIdidnotperformtomysatisfaction.（IfinishedwithaGPAof70.68,partlyduetofinancialreasons）.Iwasvotedasoneofthefivesuitablestudentsinourfacultytoparticipateinthe"YoungEntrepreneurs,2004"whichisanintercollegiateprojectcompetitionforbusinessstudentsonplanningandanalysingavirtualinvestment.

Upongraduating,IwasofferedajobwithCompanyC,apharmaceuticalfirmwhichranksasamongtheWorld'slargest.ThisiswhereIlearnedhowtoapplytheprinciplesandlessonsofmarketingandmanagementtoreallife.Itwasfascinating;andtransformedmyinterestinmanagementintoapassion.Ireadextensively,tryingtokeepmyselfinformedaboutmanagementthinkinginmyareasofwork-structureandsystemsinanindustryandorganisation,industrialmarketingandstrategy.

 Currently,myacademicconcernslieinexploringearlytwentiethcenturynarrative,especiallyinEurope,andhowinthisperiodnarrativeformsbegantoadapttonewnarrativeneeds.Thepointofmyresearchistoinvestigatehowcertainformalproblemsdetermineandshapeproblemsofco
