  2.IKEA’snamecomesfromKamprads’initials(I.K.)andtheplacewherehegrewup(EandA).TodayIKEAisknownforitsmodern,minimalistfurniture,butitwasnotafurniturecompanyinthebeginning.Rather,IKEAsoldallkindsofmiscellaneousgoods.Kamprad’swaresincludedanythingthathecouldsellforprofitsatdiscountedprices,includingwatches,pensandstockings.
