一、教学目标：

1）学习掌握下列词汇：

background,interview,Asian,dealwith,dare,private,guard,require

2）阅读短文，能按要求获取相关的信息。

3）通过阅读训练来提高学生们的阅读能力。

4）学习运用usedto来表达“过去常常”存在的状态或的发生的动作。

二、学情分析

本课时继续学习用usedto谈论人们常常做什么，并且学会通过阅读分析文章信息。

我采用自主学习的方式，让学生根据GrammarFocus，归纳SectionA部分语法重点，同时通过4a、4b、4c的活动，学以致用usedto的用法。

二、教学重难点

1）掌握本部分出现的生词和词组，达到熟练运用的目标。

2）阅读短文，获得相关的信息。

通过阅读练习，来提高阅读能力。
