Orientedbyuserrequirements,A0FingerprintTimeAttendanceManagementSystemisageneral-purposefingerprinttimeattendancemanagementsystemdevelopedtoaddressthecomputermanagementontimeattendanceofvariousfactoriesandcompanies.

A0FingerprintTimeAttendanceSystemsupportstwokindsofattendanceways:

accordingtoworkshiftorunfixedworkshift.Itappliestothecompanywhichjusthasoneworkshiftorhasnoorder（onlyneedtoclockin/outwithdailyattendance）.Itsnoneedtoarrangetheworkshiftforpersonnel,convenientoperationandsupplyonlineservice.

Thissystemwascharacterizedbyquickandbriefanalyzing，processing，queryingandcollecting.Thereportformsarevariousasoriginalclockin/outlist,exceptionalclockin/outlist,dailytimeattendancelist,monthlytimeattendancelist,accesscontrolclockin/outlistanddailytimeattendancesymboliclist.Besides,itisusefultogatheringallkindsofdata,suchasthetimeattendance,absenttime,overtimeworking,overdue,leaveearly,boththetimeandthedegree,andvariousleaves（privateaffairleave,illnessleave,marriageleaveetc.）showingwithanintuitionalsymbolicform.

ThepermissionofA0FingerprintTimeAttendanceManagementSystemissetbypersonsinchargeandoperatorscandefinetheirownpasswords,whicheffectivelypreventsillegalandunauthorizeduseofthesystem.Thesystemhasstrictdatainputfaulttolerancesystemtopreventwrongoperationandillegaldatainput.Backupfunctionofthesystemensuresthatdatawillnotbelostandthesystemwillrestorerunningquicklywhenmalfunctionoccurs.

A0FingerprintTimeAttendanceManagementSystempossessessevenmajorfunctionalmodules,namelypersonnelinformationsetting,terminaladministration,timeattendanceregistration,accesscontrolmanagement,reportformprinting,systemmaintenanceandhelp.

ChapterTwoGlossary

1.Terminal

Alsonamedequipment,isthetimeattendanceterminalwhichisusedtoclockin/out.Itcanidentifytheregisteredcardandregistrationpersonnel,memorytheclockin/outinformation,andtransmitthedatatocomputerbythe232/485communicationway.

2.EquipmentNumber

Namelythenumberofeachequipment,whichareusedtoensuretherelativeequipments.Makesurethatitcannotberepeatedonline.

3.Serialport

Outputportofthecomputer,whichisusedtothecommunicationbetweencomputerandequipment.

4.Baudrate

Thetransmissionspeed.Hereitmeansthetransmissionspeedofcomputerandequipment.Somehardwareonlysupportsthefixedbaudrate,namelythedefaultbaudrateinsearching.

5.Editingattendancetime

Inputpersonnel’sattendancetimebyhand.

6.Registration

Writethepersonnelinformation,includingfingerprintregisterednumberandnameontherelativeequipment.Itrevealstherelativenumberandnamewhenthepersonnelputhisfingeronit.Alsotheclockin/outtimewillberecordedautomatically.

7.Timeattendance

Itmeanscomeandleaveofficeduetothesettingtime.Namelytheactualworkingtime.

8.Absence

Itmeanslateattendance,earlyleave;businesstripandoutgoingtripoversteptheregulateattendancetimeoritsetstohavetimeattendancebothon-dutyandoff-duty,butjustmissone.

9.Timeattendanceprocessing

Countingeveryone’sattendanceresultduetotheattendancerules,workingshift,holiday,generalholidayandtheclockin/outrecord,specialattendancethatthesystemsetting.Theresultlikeattendance,overtimeworking,late,leaveearly,absent,leaveetc.whichcanbecheckedaftertheattendanceprocessing.

10.Workshift

Itmeansthedailyworkingtimeofthepersonnel.

11.Workinterval

Itmeansthetimeintervaloftheworkshift,e.g.08:

17.Dailyattendancelist

Itshowsthedailyattendanceofthepersonnelinworkingday.Itcontainstheclockin/outtimeonandoffduty,dayworkandnightwork（namelyactualworktime）,peacetimeovertime,generalholidayovertime,holidayovertime,late/leaveearlytimesandtime,andallleaves（privateaffairleave,illnessleave,marriageleaveetc.）,timeforbusinessetc.

18.Monthlyattendancelist

Itshowsthegeneralattendancesituationofthepersonnelwithinthedaterange,suchasdayworkandnightwork,peacetimeovertime,generalholidayovertime,holidayovertime,late/leaveearlytimesandtime,andthegeneraltimeofallleavesandbusiness.

2,OpentheCDcontent,runSetup.exeandstartinstallingthesystem

3,Click“Next”,thenchoosetheprocessinginstallationpath.

5,Click"Next",thenclickthe“Installation”toinstallprocess.Aftertheinstallation

clickthe“finish”.

6,Thenitwillpop-upadialogboxautomaticallylike“attendancemanagementsystemrequiresdata-base,whethertoinstallMSDEdata-basemanagementsystem”,click“yes”starttoinstallingMSDE.

7,AfterMSDEinstallationfinished,iconofA0TimeAttendanceManagementSystemwillappearondesktop.

★Note:

1.DonotrunA0TimeAttendanceManagementSystemwithoutinstallingMSDEorothereditionsofSqlServer.

2,IfanyeditionofMicrosoftSqlServer2000hasbeeninstalledonuser'scomputer,MSDEisnotrequiredtobeinstalledandonlyA1TimeAttendanceManagementApplicationisrequiredtobeinstalled.

3,MSDEisthefreedesktopdatabaseprovidedbyMicrosoft,whichcanbedownloadedbyuser.

4.2Installingnetworkedition

1.InsertMicrosoftSQLServer2000CD-ROMintotheCD-ROMdriver.

2.Select"InstallSQLServer2000components"intheAuto-Runwindow.

3.Click"Installdatabaseserver".

4.Selectthelocalcomputer,thenclick"Next".

5.Select“Set-upnewSQLServerorinstallclienttools”.Click"Next".

6.Fillinusernameandcompanyname,andthenclick"Next".
