EmotionsofCollegeStudents

Emotionisthereflectionoftherelationshipbetweenindividualandenvironmentandthings.Ithasauniquesubjectiveexperienceandexternalformsofexpression,andithasaveryimportantimpactonhumanactivities.Asaspecialgroupofcollegestudents,thebasicphysiologicalandpsychologicalmaturityisnotcompletelymature,susceptibletooutsideinterference,andofpeople,socialphenomenasuchasspecialattentiontonewthingsverycurious,confidenceintheschoolandthefuture,fullofyouthfulspirit,positiveenterprising,havemanypositiveemotions,everypsychologicaltheyareinaparticularemotionalcontextandinfluenceandregulation.

I.emotionalcharacteristicsofCollegeStudents

Collegeageisanimportantperiodforyoungpeopletomaturepsychologically,anditisalsoaperiodofemotionalabundanceandrelativeinstability.Withtheimprovementofsocialstatusandknowledgeandtheinfluenceofthespecificagegroup,theemotionofcollegestudentshasdistinctivefeatures.Specificperformanceinthefollowingaspects:

(1)richnessandcomplexity

Fromthephysiologicaldevelopmentofsegmentation,collegestudentsareintheageofdreams,emotionsalmosthumanbeings,canbereflectedincollegestudents,andallkindsofemotionalstrength,suchassorrow,regret,disappointment,sadness,grief,sorrowanddespair;fromthedevelopmentofselfconsciousness.Studentsshowedmoreselfexperience,selfrespectisstrong,easytoproduceinferiority,conceit,emotionalexperience;socialaspectofthestudents'communicativerangewidening,andtheinteractionbetweenteachersandstudentsandfriendsmoredelicate,morecomplex,somestudentsalsobegantoexperienceamoreprominentemotion--love.Loveandactivitiesareoftenaccompaniedbyprofoundemotionalexperience,thisexperienceisveryimportantforthestudentsintheemotionalexperience;Onthestudents'emotionalcharacteristicsisrichandcolorful,withtheemotionoffear,afraidofstudentsofthings,mainlyrelatedtosocial,cultural,imaginary,abstractandcomplexthingsandsituations,suchasfear,fear,fearofstrangersexaminationpunishment,afraidofloneliness.

Theemotionalimpulseofcollegestudentsisoftenassociatedwithexplosive.CollegeStudents'self-controlisweak,oncethereisanexternalstrongstimulus,moodwillsuddenlybrokeout,withthehelpofimpulseforce,sothatthelossofintellectualcontrolinlanguage,expressionandmovement,forgettheotherthingsareeasytoproducebehavioranddestructiveconsequences.

(four)stageandgradation;

Theuniversitystagebecauseofthedifferentgradecultivationtargetandemphasizedifferentwaysofeducationandcurriculumsettingisdifferent,eachgradefacingdifferentproblems,emotionalcharacteristicsofcollegestudentsaredifferent,showingthestageandlevelofcharacteristics.Thefreshmenareconfrontedwithsuchproblemsasadaptationtotheenvironment,changesinlearningmethods,familiarityandunderstandingofnewcontacts,andtheestablishmentofnewgoals.Thenewsenseofprideandinferioritymixed,relaxationandstresscoexist,freshandnostalgicfeelingalternately,moodswings.Inthetwoorthreegrade,afteragradeofadaptationprocess,canbeintegratedintocampuslife,themoodismorestable.Graduatingclassstudentsareconfrontedwithmanyimportantproblems,suchasgraduationthesis(graduationproject)andcareerchoice,whicharestressful,emotionalandnegative.Inaddition,duetosocial,familyandtheirownrequirements,expectationsofdifferent,abilityandpsychologicalqualityofthedifference,studentswillalsoreflectadifferentemotionalstate.

(five)explicitandimplicit

(2)toreinterpretandaccepttherelationshipbetweenoneselfandemotion,nottodefendoneself,toavoidsetbacks,andtoarrangealternativegoals;

(3)perceptionofcertainsituationscancausesetbacksandcanavoidandfindalternativegoalstoachieveemotionalsatisfaction;

(4)findwaystorelieveunhappinessinlife;

(5)recognizethefunctionsofvariousdefensemechanisms,includingfantasy,degeneration,resistance,projection,rationalizationandcompensation,andavoidbecomingthewronghabit,andevenoverdefense,resultinginemotionaldistress;

(6)seekexperthelp.

PsychologistSolalsopointsouteightcharacteristicsofemotionalhealth:

(1)independent,independentofparents;

(2)enhancethesenseofresponsibilityandtheabilitytoworkandreducethedesiretoaccepttheoutsideworld;

(3)removeinferioritycomplex,individualismandcompetitivepsychology;

(4)moderatesocializationandenlightenmentcancooperatewithpeopleandaccordwithpersonalconscience;

(5)maturesexualattitudescanorganizehappyfamilies;

(6)cultivateadaptabilityandavoidhostilityandattack;

(7)haveacorrectunderstandingofreality;

(8)resilientandadaptable.

Forcollegestudents,emotionalhealthspecificperformance:

emotionaltoneispositive,optimistic,cheerful,stable,selfcontrolabilityofnegativeemotions,emotionalresponseappropriate;seniorsocialemotion(sense,moralsense,aestheticetc.)cangetgooddevelopment.
