InthepreviousstepweunzippedtheinstallationfilesdownloadedfromOracle,soweshouldalreadyhaveagridinstalldirectory.

WewillnowlaunchtheGridinstallerasfollows:

Inmytesting,selecttoconfiguretheGridInfrastructureManagementRepositoryinvariablyleadstoanINS-20802errorduringclusterverification.Althoughtheerrorcanbeignored,ifyouwantacompletelycleaninstallandyoudonotplantousetheabovefeatures,youmaychoosetonotconfiguretherepository.

Atthenextscreen,selectUseStandardASMforstorage.IfyousetyourprivateclusterNICtoPrivateandASMinapreviousstep,thenyoumightchoosetoexperimentwithFlexASM.

AtthenextscreenwechoosethediskforASMtouse.Thedefaultdiscoverypathis/dev/sd*,whichaswechangedthatthroughUDEVrulestodev/oracleasm/asm-disk1isnotgoingtoworkforus.
