K6.Theshoulderslopeismeasuredfromtheimaginarystraightlinethroughneck

Thismeasurementshows

theactualdistancebetweenthearmholeorsleeveseamandthehighshoulder

point.Aswiththefrontandbackneckdrops，themeasurementistakenwiththe

garmentinanaturalpositionwiththeshoulderseamsrolledforward。

Thismeasurementshouldnotbeconfusedwiththeshoulderseamlength。

shaped。

Almostwithoutexception,awellbalancedgarmenthasashoulder

shoulderrollofthehumanbody。

Toachievethis,thebackshouldershouldbe

approximately¾”higherthanthefrontonapatternwhensideseamsandlower

armholepointsarematched。
