1.Theindustrialproductionrealizedsteadygrowth.
InAugust,thetotalvalueaddedoftheindustrialenterprisesabovedesignatedsizewasup13.9percentyear-on-year,or0.5percentagepointhigherthanthatinJuly2010;inthefirsteightmonthsofthisyear,itwasup16.6percentyear-on-year,whichwasdownby0.4percentagepointoverthatinthefirstsevenmonthsof2010.
AnalysisondifferenttypesofenterprisesshowedthatinAugust2010,thegrowthofthestate-ownedandstateholdingenterpriseswentupby11.7percent;collectiveenterprises,8.1percent;share-holdingenterprises,14.7percent;and13.4percentgrowthforenterprisesfundedbyforeigninvestorsorinvestorsfromHongKong,MacaoandTaiwanprovince.Theyear-on-yeargrowthofheavyindustryinAugustwas14.2percent,and13.1percentforthelightindustry.
Groupedbydifferentsectors,inAugustallthe39industrialdivisionskeptyear-on-yeargrowth.Ofthistotal,thegrowthoftextileindustrywas11.6percent;themanufactureofrawchemicalmaterialsandchemicalproducts,upby12.9percent;themanufactureofnon-metallicmineralproducts,upby18.8percent;themanufactureofgeneralmachinery,20.1percent;themanufactureoftransportequipment,16.6percent;themanufactureofelectricmachineryandequipment,18.3percent;themanufactureofcommunicationequipment,computersandotherelectronicequipment,14.9percent;theproductionandsupplyofelectricity,gasandwater,up11.6percent;andtheferrousmetalsmeltingandpressing,upby8.1percent.
Intermsofdifferentproducts,ofthetotal503products,theoutputof415productsinAugustshowedayear-on-yeargrowth.Ofthistotal,theoutputofcrudeoilwas17.43milliontons,upby6.5percent;thatofelectricitywas390.3billionkilowatt-hours,upby12.6percent;thatofpigironwas51.64milliontons,downby1.1percent;thatofcementwas167.80milliontons,upby12.8percent;thatofmotorvehicleswas1,331thousand,upby13.1percent,ofwhich,theoutputofcarswas701thousand,upby7.7percent.
ThesalesratioofindustrialproductsinAugustwas98.2percent,or0.5percentagepointhigherthanthatinlastAugust.Thetotalexportdeliveryvalueofindustrialenterpriseswas783.8billionyuan,upby26.7percentyear-on-year.
2.Thegrowthrateofurbaninvestmentinfixedassetscamedownfromahighlevel.
Inthefirsteightmonthsofthisyear,theurbaninvestmentinfixedassetsreached14,099.8billionyuan,upby24.8percentyear-on-year,or0.1percentagepointlowerthanthatinthefirstsevenmonthsofthisyear.Ofthistotal,thatinthestate-ownedandstateholdingenterprisesreached5,845.2billionyuan,ariseof20.0percent;thatintherealestatedevelopmentwas2,835.5billionyuan,upby36.7percent.
Groupedbyjurisdictionofprojectmanagement,inthefirsteightmonthsofthisyear,thecentralinvestmentreached1,120.0billionyuan;theyear-on-yeargrowthwas11.4percentwhilethelocalinvestmentwas12,979.8billionyuan,upby26.1percent.Groupedbystatusofregistration,inthefirsteightmonthsofthisyear,theinvestmentbydomesticenterpriseswas13,106.3billionyuan,upby26.3percent;investmentbyfundsfromHongKong,MacaoandTaiwanwas445.4billionyuan,upby15.8percent;andtheinvestmentbyforeignfundswas488.7billionyuan,upby2.5percent.
Inthefirsteightmonthsofthisyear,theinvestmentinprimaryindustry,secondaryindustryandthetertiaryindustrywentupby18.6percent,22.2percentand27.0percentrespectively.Groupedbydifferentsectors,inthefirsteightmonthsofthisyear,theinvestmentinproductionandsupplyofelectricpowerandheatpowerwas676.7billionyuan,up7.9percent;extractionofpetroleumandnaturalgas147.8billionyuan,upby10.3percent;railwaytransport378.0billionyuan,up21.7percent.
Analysisonprojectsunderconstructionorstartedthisyearshowedthatinthefirsteightmonthsofthisyear,projectsunderconstructionnumbered362,650,anincreaseof22,882overthesameperiodoflastyear;thetotalplannedinvestmentinprojectsunderconstructionreached43,594.4billionyuan,upby27.3percentyear-on-year;projectsnewlystartedthisyeartotaled232,269,adecreaseof2,637;thetotalplannedinvestmentinnewlystartedprojectswas12,213.8billionyuan,upby26.3percentoverthesameperiodoflastyear.
Intermsoffundsinplaceforinvestment,inthefirsteightmonthsofthisyear,16,704.0billionyuanhadbeeninvested,ayear-on-yeargrowthof26.5percent.Ofthistotal,thegrowthofgovernmentbudgetaryfundswentupby11.5percent;investmentfromdomesticloanswentupby22.6percent;thatfromself-raisingfundswentupby30.5percentandthatfromforeigninvestmentgrewby3.9percent.
3.Totalretailsalesofconsumergoodsshowedsteadyandfastgrowth.
InAugust,thetotalretailsalesofconsumergoodsreached1,257.0billionyuan,ayear-on-yearriseof18.4percent,whichwas0.5percentagepointhigherthanthatinthepreviousmonthofthisyear.Inthefirsteightmonthsofthisyear,thetotalretailsalesofconsumergoodswere9,749.2billionyuan,ayear-on-yeargrowthof18.2percent,maintainingthesamelevelasthatinthefirstsevenmonthsofthisyear.
Analyzedbydifferentareas,theretailsalesinurbanareasreached1,093.0billionyuaninAugust,upby18.8percent,andtheretailsalesinruralareasstoodat164.0billionyuan,upby15.9percent.
Groupedbyconsumptionpatterns,thetotalincomeofcateringserviceswas147.1billionyuaninAugust,upby18.8percentyear-on-year,andthatofretailgoodswas1,109.9billionyuan,up18.4percent.Ofthistotal,thetotalretailsalesofenterprises(units)abovedesignatedsizewereupby28.1percent.
4.Thegrowthofconsumerpricesexpandedtosomeextent.
InAugust,theconsumerpriceindexwentupby3.5percentyear-on-year,or0.2percentagepointhigheroverthatinJulyofthisyear.Thepricegrewby3.4percentincitiesand3.7percentinruralareas.Thefoodpricewentupby7.5percentwhilethenon-foodpriceincreasedby1.5percent.Thepricesofconsumergoodswentupby3.8percentandthepricesofservicesgrewupby2.4percent.Groupedbycommoditycategories,inAugust,oftheeightcategoriesofcommodities,sixofthemexperiencedpricesriseandtwowitnessedpricesdecline.Ofwhich,pricesforfoodwentupby7.5percent;pricesfortobacco,liquorandarticlesroseby1.5percent;priceforclothingwentdownby1.2percent;pricesforhouseholdfacilities,articlesandmaintenanceserviceswentupby0.4percent;healthcareandpersonalarticlesroseby3.3percent;transportationandcommunicationwentdownby0.6percent;recreation,education,culturearticlesandservicesgrewby1.2percent,andhousingwentupby4.4percent.Inthefirsteightmonths,theyear-on-yearchangeofconsumerpricewasupby2.8percent,orexpandedby0.1percentagepointascomparedwiththatinthefirstsevenmonthsofthisyear.
InAugustthisyear,themonth-on-monthchangeofconsumerpricewasupby0.6percent.Ofwhich,priceincitieswentupby0.6percentandthatinruralareaswentupby0.8percent.Thefoodpriceroseby2.0percentandthenon-foodpricemaintainedthesamelevel.Thepriceofconsumergoodsgrewby0.8percent,andthepriceofserviceswentupby0.2percent.Groupedbycommoditycategories,inAugust,pricesforfoodroseby2.0percentmonth-on-month,ofwhichthepriceforfreshvegetablesincreasedby7.7percent;pricesfortobacco,liquorandarticlesincreasedby0.2percent,priceforclothingwentdownby0.7percent,pricesforhouseholdfacilities,articlesandmaintenanceservicesincreasedby0.1percent,healthcareandpersonalarticlesgrewby0.1percent;transportationandcommunicationwentdownby0.1percent,recreation,education,culturearticlesandservicesroseby0.2percent,andhousingwentupby0.2percent.
5.Thegrowthrateofproducerpricesformanufacturedgoodscontinuedtodrop.
InAugust,theproducerpricesformanufacturedgoodswentupby4.3percentyear-on-year,or0.5percentagepointslowerthanthatinthepreviousmonth.Theproducerpricesformeansofproductionwentupby5.0percentyear-on-yearinAugust,ofwhichthatforminingandquarryingindustrygrewby14.8percent,rawmaterialsindustrywentupby7.8percentandprocessingindustryincreasedby2.5percent.Theproducerpricesformeansoflivelihoodincreasedby2.2percent,ofwhich,thefoodpricesgrewby4.0percent,clothingwentupby1.7percent,articlesfordailyusegrewby2.2percentanddurableconsumergoodsdroppedby0.4percent.InAugust,themonth-on-monthchangeoftheproducerpricesformanufacturedgoodwentupby0.4percent.Inthefirsteightmonthsofthisyear,theyear-on-yearchangeoftheproducerpriceformanufacturedgoodwasupby5.6percent,whichwas0.2percentagepointlowerthanthatinthefirstsevenmonthsofthisyear.
InAugust,thepurchasingpricesforrawmaterials,fuelandpowerwentupby7.5percentyear-on-year.Theyear-on-yearchangeofpricesfornonferrousmetalsandwirewentupby16.6percent,fuelandpowerroseby10.2percent,5.9percentgrowthforrawchemicalmaterialsand6.5percentincreaseforferrousmetals.Inthefirsteightmonths,thepurchasingpricesforrawmaterials,fuelandpowergrewby10.1percentyear-on-year.
