莴苣姑娘
RAPUNZEL.
Therewereonceamanandawomanwhohadlonginvainwishedforachild.AtlengththewomanhopedthatGodwasabouttograntherdesire.Thesepeoplehadalittlewindowatthebackoftheirhousefromwhichasplendidgardencouldbeseen,whichwasfullofthemostbeautifulflowersandherbs.Itwas,however,surroundedbyahighwall,andnoonedaredtogointoitbecauseitbelongedtoanenchantress,whohadgreatpowerandwasdreadedbyalltheworld.Onedaythewomanwasstandingbythiswindowandlookingdownintothegarden,whenshesawabedwhichwasplantedwiththemostbeautifulrampion(rapunzel),anditlookedsofreshandgreenthatshelongedforit,shequitepinedaway,andbegantolookpaleandmiserable.Thenherhusbandwasalarmed,andasked:
'Whatailsyou,dearwife?
''Ah,'shereplied,'ifIcan'teatsomeoftherampion,whichisinthegardenbehindourhouse,Ishalldie.'Theman,wholovedher,thought:
'Soonerthanletyourwifedie,bringhersomeoftherampionyourself,letitcostwhatitwill.'Attwilight,heclambereddownoverthewallintothegardenoftheenchantress,hastilyclutchedahandfuloframpion,andtookittohiswife.Sheatoncemadeherselfasaladofit,andateitgreedily.Ittastedsogoodtohersoverygood,thatthenextdayshelongedforitthreetimesasmuchasbefore.Ifhewastohaveanyrest,herhusbandmustoncemoredescendintothegarden.Inthegloomofeveningtherefore,helethimselfdownagain;butwhenhehadclambereddownthewallhewasterriblyafraid,forhesawtheenchantress
standingbeforehim.'Howcanyoudare,'saidshewithangrylook,'descendintomygardenandstealmyrampionlikeathief?
Youshallsufferforit!
''Ah,'
answeredhe,'letmercytaketheplaceofjustice,Ionlymadeupmymindtodoitoutofnecessity.Mywifesawyourrampionfromthewindow,andfeltsuchalongingforitthatshewouldhavediedifshehadnotgotsometoeat.'Thentheenchantressallowedherangertobesoftened,andsaidtohim:
'Ifthecasebeasyousay,Iwillallowyoutotakeawaywithyouasmuchrampionasyouwill,onlyImakeonecondition,youmustgivemethechildwhichyourwifewillbringintotheworld;itshallbewelltreated,andIwillcareforitlikeamother.'Themaninhisterrorconsentedtoeverything,andwhenthewomanwasbroughttobed,theenchantressappearedatonce,gavethechildthenameofRapunzel,andtookitawaywithher.
Rapunzelgrewintothemostbeautifulchildunderthesun.Whenshewastwelveyearsold,theenchantressshutherintoatower,whichlayinaforest,andhadneitherstairsnordoor,butquiteatthetopwasalittlewindow.Whentheenchantresswantedtogoin,sheplacedherselfbeneathitandcried:
'Rapunzel,Rapunzel,
Letdownyourhairtome.'
Rapunzelhadmagnificentlonghair,fineasspungold,andwhensheheardthe
voiceoftheenchantresssheunfastenedherbraidedtresses,woundthemroundoneofthehooksofthewindowabove,andthenthehairfelltwentyellsdown,andtheenchantressclimbedupbyit.
Afterayearortwo,itcametopassthattheking'ssonrodethroughtheforestandpassedbythetower.Thenheheardasong,whichwassocharmingthathestoodstillandlistened.ThiswasRapunzel,whoinhersolitudepassedhertimeinlettinghersweetvoiceresound.Theking'ssonwantedtoclimbuptoher,andlookedforthedoorofthetower,butnonewastobefound.Herodehome,butthesinginghadsodeeplytouchedhisheart,thateverydayhewentoutintotheforestandlistenedtoit.Oncewhenhewasthusstandingbehindatree,hesawthatanenchantresscamethere,andheheardhowshecried:
'Rapunzel,Rapunzel,
Letdownyourhairtome.'
ThenRapunzelletdownthebraidsofherhair,andtheenchantressclimbeduptoher.'Ifthatistheladderbywhichonemounts,Itoowilltrymyfortune,'saidhe,andthenextdaywhenitbegantogrowdark,hewenttothetowerandcried:
'Rapunzel,Rapunzel,
Letdownyourhairtome.'
Immediatelythehairfelldownandtheking'ssonclimbedup.
AtfirstRapunzelwasterriblyfrightenedwhenaman,suchashereyeshadneveryetbeheld,cametoher;buttheking'ssonbegantotalktoherquitelikeafriend,andtoldherthathishearthadbeensostirredthatithadlethimhavenorest,andhehadbeenforcedtoseeher.ThenRapunzellostherfear,andwhenheaskedherifshewouldtakehimforherhusband,andshesawthathewasyoungandhandsome,shethought:
'HewilllovememorethanoldDameGotheldoes';andshesaidyes,andlaidherhandinhis.Shesaid:
'Iwillwillinglygoawaywithyou,butIdonotknowhowtogetdown.Bringwithyouaskeinofsilkeverytimethatyoucome,andIwillweavealadderwithit,andwhenthatisreadyIwilldescend,andyouwilltakemeonyourhorse.'Theyagreedthatuntilthattimeheshouldcometohereveryevening,fortheoldwomancamebyday.Theenchantressremarkednothingofthis,untilonceRapunzelsaidtoher:
'Tellme,DameGothel,howithappensthatyouaresomuchheavierformetodrawupthantheyoungking'ssonheiswithmeinamoment.''Ah!
youwickedchild,'criedthe
enchantress.'WhatdoIhearyousay!
IthoughtIhadseparatedyoufromalltheworld,andyetyouhavedeceivedme!
'InherangersheclutchedRapunzel'sbeautifultresses,wrappedthemtwiceroundherlefthand,seizedapairof
scissorswiththeright,andsnip,snap,theywerecutoff,andthelovelybraidslayontheground.AndshewassopitilessthatshetookpoorRapunzelintoadesertwhereshehadtoliveingreatgriefandmisery.
OnthesamedaythatshecastoutRapunzel,however,theenchantressfastenedthebraidsofhair,whichshehadcutoff,tothehookofthewindow,andwhentheking'ssoncameandcried:
'Rapunzel,Rapunzel,
Letdownyourhairtome.'
sheletthehairdown.Theking'ssonascended,butinsteadoffindinghisdearestRapunzel,hefoundtheenchantress,whogazedathimwithwickedand
venomouslooks.'Aha!
'shecriedmockingly,'youwouldfetchyourdearest,butthebeautifulbirdsitsnolongersinginginthenest;thecathasgotit,andwill
scratchoutyoureyesaswell.Rapunzelislosttoyou;youwillneverseeheragain.'Theking'ssonwasbesidehimselfwithpain,andinhisdespairheleaptdownfromthetower.Heescapedwithhislife,butthethornsintowhichhefellpiercedhiseyes.Thenhewanderedquiteblindabouttheforest,atenothingbutrootsandberries,anddidnaughtbutlamentandweepoverthelossofhisdearestwife.Thusheroamedaboutinmiseryforsomeyears,andatlengthcametothedesertwhereRapunzel,withthetwinstowhichshehadgivenbirth,aboyandagirl,livedinwretchedness.Heheardavoice,anditseemedsofamiliartohimthathewenttowardsit,andwhenheapproached,Rapunzelknewhimandfellonhisneckandwept.Twoofhertearswettedhiseyesandtheygrewclearagain,andhecouldseewiththemasbefore.Heledhertohiskingdomwherehewasjoyfullyreceived,andtheylivedforalongtimeafterwards,happyandcontented.

垂下你的秀发来,莴苣姑娘让我攀援着它爬进玲珑闺塔在你曾经罹难受苦的地方将那凄美的故事再度传唱故事发生在很久很久以前如何之久远却没有确切年头巫婆仙女自由出没寻常生活仿佛住家的燕子如影随形那是令人无限神往的年代人间充满不尽神奇和魅力世人尽可以滋生奇思妙想而且无一例外都美梦成真据说是在很久很久的以前生活着传说中的那对夫妻是否恩爱缠绵还不得而知结婚多年仍未能枯杨生稊在他们屋后有一堵高高的院墙院内生长着传说中的大片莴苣这天妻子向窗外极目远眺脆生生的莴苣勾起她强烈食欲她的欲望一天天日渐高涨似顽童使性子竟至闹绝食顺从的丈夫无奈初显身手急急忙忙攥来大把的莴苣莴苣里似乎暗藏蛊惑之毒妻子并未解馋反倒胃口大开不堪唆使,丈夫再次身临险境趁着月色,翻过那高高的院墙这次可怜的丈夫终未能得逞现在该轮到恶巫婆隆重登场龇牙咧嘴,她将丈夫严厉训斥不依不饶,显露出叵测的居心“都是因为发妻才唐突冒犯,她贪恋口欲中了您的巫术。
”
自惭形秽将经过合盘托出“如果你说的全都是实情,莴苣倒是可以随便食用。
只是将来若生下一儿半女,却得托付给我,老巫婆。
”乖戾的巫婆提出苛刻条件怯懦的丈夫当即全部应允莴苣居然能治愈不育之症就诗人而言可谓闻所未闻十月怀胎,一朝分娩传说中的莴苣姑娘就此诞生哇哇犹未坠地,转瞬假手于人时光须臾即逝,长成少女婷婷“垂下你的秀发来,莴苣姑娘,让我攀援着它爬进玲珑闺塔。
”巫婆开始在塔下如是地使唤姑娘垂下传说中的美丽金发日子一天天平淡无奇地流逝直到打马走来传说中的王子他穿过森林,径直走到塔楼下为歌声牵引,不禁驻足听分明莴苣姑娘的歌声如此美妙动人王子欲一睹芳颜却不知道门径返回家中,歌声依旧在心头回荡每天每天,他都在林中流连徜徉这一次,他隐身在一棵大树后面走过来老巫婆对着塔顶高声呼喊:
“垂下你的秀发来,莴苣姑娘,让我攀援着它爬进玲珑闺塔。
”长长发辫凌空飞流直下巫婆气喘嘘嘘爬进闺塔相似的境遇每天都如此重复痴心王子却头一遭耳闻目睹这不失为进塔的一条路径
于是就在传说中的那个夜晚塔下传来传说中的殷殷呼唤“垂下你的秀发来,莴苣姑娘,让我攀援着它爬进玲珑闺塔。
”金丝般秀美的头发就此垂下王子于是奇迹般地闯进闺塔传说中的恋人们传奇地相遇莴苣姑娘情不自禁大吃一惊出现在眼前的竟是位英俊少年哎,长这么大她还未近过男身同样惊诧莫名的是那位王子他何曾见过如此美貌的少女爱情的魔力冲破巫术的禁锢两人因此一见钟情私订终身幸福看起来似乎会地久天长王子机警地隐匿着一切踪迹莴苣姑娘却未免过于单纯天真的话语泄露个中秘密“教母,缘何你如此老迈沉沉,可不象我的王子般步履轻盈。
呵,只要一眨眼的工夫,他便能跃上塔楼来到我近身。
”“哈,你这小没良心的贱人,”巫婆不禁火冒三丈怒涛万顷“我原以为已将你与世隔绝,没想到你竟敢与人私自偷情。
”巫婆气极败坏抓住莴苣姑娘嚓嚓几下剪掉她美丽的金发恶狠狠地将她抛在荒郊野外从此她过着以泪洗面的生活当天晚上王子又来到塔楼下一如既往将恋人深情呼唤:
“垂下你的秀发来,莴苣姑娘,让我攀援着她爬进玲珑闺女塔。
”
王子并没有觉察出任何异样他心急火燎地爬进了闺塔等待他的却不是愉快的相逢“啊哈,小鸟不在窝里也不再歌唱,你的‘莴苣’完了,一辈子休想见她。
”巫婆嘲弄着王子,神情极为亢奋斩断万缕的情丝,灭绝人伦人性王子悲痛至极,破窗凌空飞下性命虽得保全,双眼却被刺瞎年复一年,他乞丐般流浪茕茕因为爱情,没日没夜哀号哭泣终于有那么一天奇迹再度发生王子不期然闯进传说中的荒野这里生活着美丽的莴苣姑娘两位小主人公,他的一双儿女王子骤然听到那熟悉的声音惊喜至极,大步流星狂奔过去姑娘乍看见亲人直扑进他的胸怀传说中的恋人们再度传奇般相遇莴苣姑娘情不自禁痛哭流涕两滴传说中的珠泪涌进王子眼里王子的眼睛竟至于奇迹般复明甚至于较以前更为明亮炯炯有神我愿撷取这传说中的珠泪莹莹滋润少男少女们清澈的眼睛让传说展开它纯洁美丽的翅膀走进生活走进爱情走进心灵垂下你的秀发来,莴苣姑娘让我攀援着它爬进玲珑闺塔让传说中的那位行吟诗人将那凄美的故事再度传唱

莴苣姑娘
有一对夫妻,二人没有孩子,但是却迫切的希望能有一个孩子。
一天妻子看到巫婆家的莴苣长得非常茂盛,于是就十分想吃,为此他的丈夫便偷偷跑到巫婆家中偷莴苣,就这样在丈夫第二次再去偷莴苣的时候,恰巧被巫婆捉到,于是为了惩罚他们,巫婆说道:
“以后你们生了孩子必须交给我,你们放心,我定会像亲妈妈一样对待她。
”
后来夫妻俩生了一个女儿,可是孩子刚刚出生就被巫婆狠心的抱走了,巫婆还为这个小女孩起了一个名字:
莴苣。
后来伴随莴苣一天天长大,她也长的越来越动人。
但是就在莴苣长到十二岁的时候,巫婆将莴苣关在了森林中的一个塔楼里面,塔楼非常的高,而且没有任何一道门,只有一扇小小的窗户。
每次只要巫婆想要进塔楼,她都会在塔楼下面喊:
“莴苣莴苣,快把你的长发放下来,我要进塔楼。
”接着一头飘逸的长发就会顺着塔楼的窗户垂下来,巫婆则会顺着莴苣的长发爬进塔楼。
后来这个秘密被一位路过的王子发现了。
他效仿巫婆用同样的办法对着塔楼喊道:
“莴苣莴苣,快把你的长发放下来。
”果然看到长发飘下来的王子,顺势爬了上去。
就这样王子和美丽的莴苣姑娘相爱了。
后来这件事情被巫婆知晓了,于是巫婆将莴苣抛弃在了没有人烟的山林中,并且逼迫王子跳下塔楼,弄瞎了王子的双眸。
几年之后王子再次遇到了莴苣,莴苣看到双眼失明的王子,不禁抱着王子疼哭起来,这时莴苣湿热的眼泪滴到了王子的眼睛上,接着王子也再次重见光明。
之后王子和就莴苣幸福的在一起了。
