“Lightcolorsareregardedasathreattomosquitoes,whichiswhymanyspeciesusuallyavoidbitingindirectsunlight,”researcherTimothyBestsays.“Mosquitoesaremorelikelytodiefromdehydration（脱水）.Therefore,lightcolorsmayrepresentdangerandavoidance.Incontrast,darkercolorsmayrepresentshadows,whicharemorelikelytoabsorbandkeepheat,allowingmosquitoestousetheircomplicatedantenna（触角）tolocateahost.
