TransferredEpithet

Anepithetisanadjectiveordescriptivephrasethatservestocharacterizesomebodyorsomething.Atransferredepithetisonethatisshiftedfromthenounitlogicallymodifiestoawordassociatedwiththatnoun.Whenonesaysthathehashadabusyday,oneisusingafigureofspeech.Foritistheperson,nottheday,thatisbusy.
