AveryspecialplaceformewasaroomthatIhadinahousethatwemovedtowhenIwasnineyearsold.

Then,onedaymyparentscamewithgreatnews;theyweregoingtorestoreandremodelthatoldroomforme.Iwaseleven,sotheythoughtthatIwouldn'tbeafraidoflivingthere,alone,andtheywereright.Iwassoexcitedtohavemyownroom,withmyownbathroomandabigwindowthatoverlookedthatbeautifulpatio.Thepatioalsohadanaljibe,akindofwellthatisverycharacteristicofSpanishcolonialhouses,...andtoknowallthatwasmine!

Onsomenights,theoneswhentherewasafullmoon,Ievenclimbedtotheroof,likeacat,toseethebeautifulmoonlightovermybelovedpatio.

Therewasaveranda,andontheothersideofit,therewerenostairs,sothedogcouldn'tfollowmeanymore.Thedoghadtostoprunning,andIstopped,too.Iwouldstareatthedogforawhileandthenbegintorunagain.
